I remember the first time I got to the end game. I was woefully unprepared. I rushed it and didn’t have the right inventory. Had a grueling grind that was a terrible terrible slog to get to Giygas. I don’t care to share how many times I got TPKed right before getting to Giygas

I remember being very very prepared and I still did horrible. But when I FINALLY beat him, I was in a dark basement that was just flooded with the red glow of the CRT TV and it was magical!

I don’t know why this never came to me before but I just noticed the similarities between Buzz Buzz and the story of Trunks in DBZ. Very interesting since the Trunks story dropped in 1991 before this game dropped.

I wish the mid-late game was harder. The final fight is a joke if you already know you have to pray, which everyone does.

I suspect the devs originally made Giygas/Porky a lot harder, but toned it down after testing. Dying to them after having to go through that nasty gauntlet of enemies in the previous area was probably just too much for most players, although I do wish it wasn't so lopsided; a single group of endgame Starmen and robot enemies honestly feels like more of a threat than Giygas and Porky.
