@@DenezisAleska theres a chance they could react to it before watching ep1 of shippuden like a few other reactors did since those corresponding chapters cameout before the actual start of shippuden in the manga
@@DenezisAleska if you speedrun through OG Naruto it's better to wait till 100 episodes of Shippuden. if you're a detail freak and take it slow through OG naruto and take the time to learn every little detail and aspect of the world and its characters, it's fine to watch the Kakashi story at beginning of Shippuden. For speedwatchers there so much that happens leading up to the end of Naruto that you kind of get lost in how important Kakashi is in the grand scheme of the story.

Complaints are valid. We all had those complaints when it was airing BUT it was the era of Animé catching up to Manga and getting into filler realms. Much things got improved in Shippuuden - visuals, BGM, soundtracks, dialgoues, pacing, everything is better there.
There are definitely issues in parts of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Overall, I enjoy watching both, but I understand the criticism that people have for both.
In which universe does Shippuden improve visuals. Some of the animations in Shippuden was godawful. Studio pierrot sucks
@@SukmyPikachu I can list much of episodes but that is unnecessary because you have come prepared for an verbal altercation. You can subjectively hate Shippuuden but to say it wasn't an improvement?
Did you sleep through last decade? Airing formats changed, screen ratios changed, hell, the TV technology itself changed. And it was clearly visible in episodes. I am not claiming that it was an untouchable art, due to time constraints, some episodes were rushed and horrible, even more so that the OG Naruto but overall it was still better than much serialized show of that time. I have simply stated that much, and focus on the word here, not all, much, was improved. There is a difference. Please expand your language comprehension.
Also, if much of Beast Reconciliation arc, Pain arc, the Valley of the End arc is not improvement then you are smoking something that I would not want.
Shipped Shippuden pacing is better? I dropped the show during that arc
@@xavmanisdabestest Well, fair shame then. Shippuuden evolved and started to drop the elongated stares and blanks filled just with BGM. It was not perfect, but it was better. I think most are misremembering the pacing with fillers because fillers were not clean cut most of the time and there pacing was all over the place. However, Manga based episodes were quite cobsistent.

This anime deserves a remake, cutting all unnecessary fillers and flashbacks. Too bad netflix/anyone just decide to remake one piece. I dont hate one piece, but remaking naruto will be wiser choice since it is already ended and it deserves new visual for modern audience.

@tiagosplitter23 could be but I feel any time you try to fix something there's a higher chance you'll make it worst rather than better especially with "remakes." There's no respect for the original these days, they focus on money first so I rather they don't touch my faves at all.

40:40 I understand what Carter means. this is the exact thing people (to this day) complain about when it comes to the power levels in Shippuden. large scale big monster battles are completely different to what came before, and you definitely need to adjust to it once they stop throwing hands and literally summon kaijus to fight lol. It just used to be a lot more grounded. I completely get Carter.

Gaara's backstory is sad but it is not even close to other backstories in the terms of layers, emotions and depth. But for those peak backstories we will have to wait for Shippuden 😢😢

@DenezisAleska Hmm sorry, but I see Gaaras on the same level as the ones mentioned. And Jiraya's wasn't really sad... Shisui's was like 30 seconds, and his eye mattered more than his backstory. Some don't even remember who he is 🤷🏻♂️

Never noticed it before but its crazy how they hint at the nine tails relationship with the one tail when Naruto says "Whats with this feeling inside of me, for some reason i really dont want to lose to this guy." If you know the relationship between those two tailed beasts it makes a lot of sense

@lilsemanas Sakura isn't even in my top 20 but given that she had to compete with demi god reincarnations+ kekkei genkai/bijuu, powerul relatives, hax, etc. as a normal person she did exceptionally better than any of her haters could even dream of.

Naruto is on another level in terms of chakra, he has naturally larger than average chakra reserves but the fact that he can tap into the Nine-tails chakra puts him on a different level, that he can summon Gamabunta is a feat in itself. There are very few who can come close to the Tailed-beasts in terms of pure chakra levels *wink wink*. For the most part, Summoning battles are rare. It works in this instant because Naruto needed something to match the One-tails. But in normal 1v1 combat jutsu are a more useful tool, and honestly any Jonin at this point in time could KO Naruto easily, through combat experience alone (my boy doesn't even know how to release a Genjutsu yet, which like yikes) and dont even get started with the Hokage. I see how its hard to gauge, but the Kage are basically god among ninja.
I totally agree with Carter, im not a big fan of the Kaiju battles, that being said there is a really epic summon battle in Shippuden, that might change Carters mind. And as for substitution, like the Mud Substitution that Orochimaru uses, everyone and the Author knows substitution jutsu is bs, so you see a lot less of it going forward from this point on (Orochimaru is kind of the GOAT of substitution jutsu). I hope he will enjoy the upcoming arcs. Plus more backstories that will hit the feels coming up in Shippuden.
Also, the Memorial Stone that Kakashi stands in front of has the name of all the ninja who are KIA in service of Konoha.

Also, if you all ever get the schedule time and think you'd want to, I would very much recommend "the Vision of Escaflowne." it's a wonderful, short series from the 90s. Phenomenal animation, score, etc. One of my very favorites.
The reboot movie isn't near as good, but it also has great animation and score.

imo when i saw these and while watching these episodes with you guys again, i still didn't really think it was that good.
Just like Brig said at 47:32 the end of OG Naruto and a little bit into Shippuden started to do it for me. I just finished the entire series recently and its really good. i wish they could remove some flashbacks and talks tho, they were really not needed over and over again...
