A lot of editing goes into these shows to make it seem natural, even though they do multiple takes etc. My guess here is that the wide shot at 0:43 is used to hide the cut.

If the range includes cars manufacturers don't make anymore, Vauxhall definitely isn't a candidate and I'm very certain every car maker has made an ugly car at one point of another.
I agree. All Opels from back then looked very nice. Especially 2012 range: Agila, Adam, face lift Corsa D, facelift Astra J, facelift Insignia A, Cascada, Meriva B, Zafira B, Mokka.
I gotta say I kinda like the Meriva. At least it’s distinctive somewhat, with it’s pseudo Rolls-Royce-esque S******e doors. Then again, there are some fugly cars that are distinctive (I’m looking at you, Fiat Multipla and Nissan Juke). The 1.4l naturally-aspirated lump they stuff in them is bloody awful though!

Funny electrical issues like the locks not working and locking and unlocking randomly whilst driving. Boot release button breaks, I fixed that back in December. Its not all that bad but it does break a fair bit for a car made less than 10 years ago. The doors and sunroof are nifty though.

MiTo is not ugly if you look at it today, I remember back then it looked too much like they had stuck the nose of the 8C on a Fiat Punto, but afterwards came the Giulietta and all the styling cues started to make sense

Vauxhall are really making up for it now with the Crossland X, and from what I've seen googling them to make sure I had the right model, they're really desperately trying to have a full range of them with the 2021 concepts. The more time passes, the more good looking the Pontiac Aztecs and Fiat Multiplas look. They're trying to make the Mokka look like the Nissan Puke.
I think it probably was a member of the audience - they just will have cut out sections of audience members shouting out marques they hadn't prepared for.

The Astra is now being sold in America as of 2019 as the Cruze Hatchback. When I first saw one of these, I was incredibly curious as to what it was and it was going the same way as I was so I wasn’t stalking and then I saw the RS badge on it and I was in disbelief.

Tbh in the 90's and 2000's vauxhall/opel had great looking cars they might not be the boldest of designs but always good looking
