    unrelated question but i cant seem to find the option to turn tpm on in these bios?

      @MehulSolanki  Před rokem

      what is tpm? do you mean turbo power mode? if yes then it it available in this version of bios.

      @jacobwalrath Před rokem

      @@MehulSolanki tpm is the security feature needed to upgrade to windows 11. Turns out this board doesnt automatically have it and you need a separate module for it

      @@jacobwalrath Thank you for the information. I checked on gigabyte's website there is no new bios version available. The last bios was updated on 2016. I hope windows11 will work on this!

      @jacobwalrath Před rokem +1

      @@MehulSolanki you cant get windows 11 with this motherboard in a legit way because the latest processors this board supports are not windows 11 compatible. You can still upgrade to windows 11 with a popular workaround. But you risk possible problems because of it.

    can we add nvme m.2 ssd without bios update in this mobo

    • @MehulSolanki
      @MehulSolanki  Před 2 lety

      Depends on your mobo, if your older bios doesn't support nvme ssd then you need to update it otherwise there is no need for bios update, it should work out of box. You can try it (without bios update), there is no harm in this process.

    does this solve the restart loop problem

    • @MehulSolanki
      @MehulSolanki  Před 2 lety

      yes. make sure you read bios instructions before flashing. And after flashing wait, it will take several restart to turn on your pc.

      @@MehulSolanki did you also encounter the restart loop problem

    • @MehulSolanki
      @MehulSolanki  Před rokem

      @@UZEETM yes, but after several restarts my pc was automatically booted to OS. Note: some motherboard require most recent bios update before updating to latest bios, that is why it is necessary to read bios instructions.

    • @MehulSolanki
      @MehulSolanki  Před 3 lety

      Depends on CPU also. But it will support windows 10, because official drivers are available (for rev. 1.0).
