I briefly played Hero Wars during the Lara Croft event and out of all the fake ads, the isometric dungeon escape and the tower assault were the only things present in the actual game, but they're not the central focus. they are essentially side missions outside of the main story which is just your average turn-based RPG.
I have just seen this exact advertisement this clip is based on. It is just a row of mrn diving into the tail until the 99 dude makes it explode so a pink flesh monster comes out of her making the dude fall from the sky into a dungeon. These clips are as bizarre as JoJo out of context.
To be fair, I am less mad at the people making these ads than I am at the people that make them work by actually falling for them. Doesn't matter what reason.
I find it kinda interesting how these mobile game adds go through certain phases. The adds for that game had a very strange toilet phase where it was all about toilets and shitting and the toilets somehow sucking up the protagonist. It was bizzare.

We all have. It's always either this, Evony's "autoscrolling barrel shooter" or a solitaire game's "something dying in a desert hole where cards block water" ads.
The ads are catchy though. I can't imagine my day without hearing his "UAaaa" "Haaeaee" "Whohooo" "YYEAAHH" sounds and the iconic "RRAAAHHGHH" when he falls. The ads became so successful to the point they even started making fun of themselves and creating more ads with crazier stories/fetishes. I think it has died down a bit now.
I genuinely want to play one of the games where you have to shoot the barrels with the power up. But those ads are always for completely unrelated games.
Those ads are supposed to grab a person's attention? They're literally just, "Choose the number that's lower than yours." How is that supposed to make somebody want to play the game?
I have the hero war ads many times, its like its designed to make you angry cuz each time, they have the protagonist kill the smaller number enemies but somehow chooses to kill the big number enemy and die. Also the real gameplay is different from this and not fun at all
Same. I haven't played Top War but Top War is the worst offender from what I heard when it comes to those fake barrel shooting ads for it when it doesn't have it. I found some barrel shooting clones on Android and played for a day. Does get a bit addicting but I try not to get too addicted to it. Last War: Survival Game, however, at least the gameplay style exist in few minigames within it (looks a bit different than ads but at least that gameplay aspect made it in) but the main part of Last War is mostly building a base, upgrading heroes, and battling 'n' defending against zombies and other players. I played that for about a month before I uninstalled it (it was pretty addicting but time wasting when I could have played other things). Evony is a similar game but medieval style with a barrel minigame.
@@GabePuratekuta I kind of missed those ads too. First time I tried Evony, I'm sure it was just a "Pull the Pin Puzzle" game. But once I reinstalled it like two years later, it's a different game now as I have described in my other comment unless if those were two different Evony games.

If i do not watch the actual screen, i somehow hear a Sonic For Hire episode with Tails and Jim arguing.
I love how I'm willingly, indirectly, watching ads.
Aside from SaberSpark making his own video on these crappy game adds, this is a close second of the awareness of how sexualized some of these game adds can be and target certain percentage of people to sucker them into purchasing the game not realizing they’re being hoodwinked. And the bigger issue is CZcams allows these adds to go through but a video posted on CZcams that has anything that has anything obscene will get red flagged. Because CZcams see’s money and not content.
Fake game ads ruined angry birds, cut the rope, and the old games for Gumball Mutant Fridge Mayhem, Rayman fiesta run
They ruin everything. And Angry Birds was already ruined even before the first game even came out.
😂 a series can be made out of this
I briefly played Hero Wars during the Lara Croft event and out of all the fake ads, the isometric dungeon escape and the tower assault were the only things present in the actual game, but they're not the central focus. they are essentially side missions outside of the main story which is just your average turn-based RPG.
Did I just watched 2 back to back game ads?!
The funny thing is where I was watching the video I was playing Idle Slayer🤣
Same! Well, it's running while I play other games since I'me already fininshed with it for the day.
I kinda wish at least ONE weirdly horny math based fantasy combat games existed lol.
The worst are the ones that take footage from another game entirely to pass it off as their own game, and its not even close to the game they are ripping off.
Only thing missing is a fake streamer saying "perfect decision I'm so good at this"
I cringe so hard at the "how do you do fellow gamers" these scam companies come up with.
Well, this feels oddly coincidental; it was only a week ago or so that YEAH! YOU WANT "THOSE GAMES," RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET'S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM!, a licensed game based on actually recreating all those annoying mobile game ads, had its second installment released.
At least no one was asked to "divorce or endure" while running off with their child into a cabin in the middle of a blizzard...cuz that's totally what you do when you leave someone...*le sigh*
thanks Dorkly, I wish that in the United States that fake game ads were made illegal like if you want the people to really want the game you have to make it be where the game REALLY plays like it shows in the ad, NOT be where it is just to lure gamers and not making what it advertised be not even remotely in the game otherwise that is lying ads. I hate that the games that make fake ads are allowed to get away with it for so many years.
This is the renaissance era of Dorkly
Did you think Dorkly was in crisis?
@@wojtekreliga3881 I'm not saying that, dorkly has been doing good content and now recently it's doing better than ever with more relevance and trying new ideas that haven't been tried before
You mean Lowbrow.
The ads I’m getting : ‘tired of all those fake ads?’ *footage of gameplay that doesn’t exist in the actual game*
And they all have the same "oh no!" soundbyte. Or some AI generated cartoon family that cannot seem to garden or decorate a home on their own, so you have to choose the dirt simplest answer or else their whole lives will be ruined if you chose the nail scissors over the garden hose
I entered the video and an ad for Hero Wars came out, I skipped it and another one came out but then I realized it was the video itself lol
this is so true, the people who make these ads are idiots
Please don’t make me fatal mistake of confusing malice with stupidity.
This industry is extremely profitable
First of all these games can be mass produced for dirt cheap
Second these ads love to show simple puzzles so that you are tempted to download the game to show how easy they are to solve
@@christianweibrecht6555 ok but its not usually like that bc sometimes they make the person the dumbest person alive so we could download the game and then it’s not even like that
@@christianweibrecht6555 plus people like you are total nerds so this video is not for you
@@christianweibrecht6555 You forgot to mention how the ads also make the player dumb as rocks to make the game seem difficult.
The fact is I play this game (hero wars) since 5 years, and yes, none of the ads is like the game. And as a veteran I would NEVER recommand anyone to start playing this game because it's a scam that try to milk your money with every ways possible.
thank you for your honourable sacrifice
is there at least a story to it?
@@kappadarwin9476 on the actual game? There is a "small lore" at the beginning but then it quickly fall to only attempt to make you purchase stuff with real money and fighting other players that paid more money than you
god i hate these ads so much
thank you for this
I imagine it must be super awkward doing voice acting for these types of episodes. Props to the dorkly team and their hard work 👍
Seriously, 0:30 who writes this kind of nonsense situation? This is not even as weird as some of these ads now are.
0:30 Breaking the forth wall lol
Dude, this is seriously sharp hitting satire! To hell with these fake-ass Hero Wars ads!!!!!
I hate those ads I'm just glad that they're being known for being fakes I never really believed it at first but when I first downloaded one I'm like oh yeah this is trash nothing like the ad just false advertisement
Yeah, those ads are just complete garbage. I wonder if dorkly will cover the mafia ads because those are just hot dumpster fire
One thing that annoys me is some of their newer ads freaking acknowledge the old ads were lying. But they still DON'T show the truth, they show the footage from the EXACT SAME fake ads we've seen before, but now with an AI voice going, "wow this game actually plays like the ads!"
@@blackprism5381 fr
@@nonspiderweb What they do is create like 10 ads at once, toss em out and watch which ones do the best, then continue too push more adds like that, it's all a shotgun approach.
I keep telling CZcams to block these ads.
Mobile games used to be fun... What Happened?

THANK YOU !!!!
IT NEVER IS !!!!!!
There are more games AD that needs your parody spoof... Make for them too...
Good job Dorkly; checkmating those lame not-game ads with an ad for an actual game you designed and released.
Somehow, I find this more entertaining than the actual fake game ads.
And I've seen different versions of this ad! 😅
We all have. It's always either this, Evony's "autoscrolling barrel shooter" or a solitaire game's "something dying in a desert hole where cards block water" ads.
That one way to make fun of that fake ads.
A parody of Hero Wars ads? Nice. 😎👍
What was that game about?
@@wojtekreliga3881 I didn't downloaded the actual game but it is supposedly an RPG.
Finally! These characters from those ads have said what we've all been thinking. Thanks, Dorkly.
I used to play Idle Slayer a few years ago. Fun for idle fans.
Those fake games ads are the worst.
I can’t lie, I fell for one of these fake ads because I was really curious it actually had vore in the game.
I've been seeing this game ad alot, and seeing this video, even the animators thought this is some how sexually messed up.
I genuinely want to play one of the games where you have to shoot the barrels with the power up. But those ads are always for completely unrelated games.
Nice animation
No I'm not a bot so don't even try
@@jamesonsmith4325 Okay, Hero Wars dev.
@@GabePuratekuta what tf is a hero wars
@@jamesonsmith4325 The game whose fake ads this video is parodying.
@@GabePuratekuta ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Those ads are supposed to grab a person's attention? They're literally just, "Choose the number that's lower than yours." How is that supposed to make somebody want to play the game?
WTF MAN? - 1:45
Ads
I have the hero war ads many times, its like its designed to make you angry cuz each time, they have the protagonist kill the smaller number enemies but somehow chooses to kill the big number enemy and die. Also the real gameplay is different from this and not fun at all
Dude, the barrel shooting ones are the worst.
@@ThunderDragonRandy Do you wish Evony ads would go back to "pull the pin puzzles"? I kinda do.
@@GabePuratekuta I kind of missed those ads too. First time I tried Evony, I'm sure it was just a "Pull the Pin Puzzle" game. But once I reinstalled it like two years later, it's a different game now as I have described in my other comment unless if those were two different Evony games.
You forgot the part where the guy can't do basic math.
0:05 is that a god damn Macbeth reference? 😂😂😂
I'm not familiar with Scottish hip-hop so I don't know.

@@ken_kaniff246 It's a joke form Saints Row IV.

Damn i thought it's one of those fake ads again and I was looking for the skip button to just realize it's the real deal itself.
i hate those hero wars ads with passion tbh.
I literally laugh at these ads where they gently switch the assets. Or flashy new sequence before the guy falls to the same game board.

Hmmmmmmmmmm... You look familiar lol
