Fluval Evo V Nano Reef - Aiptasia, Mods, Setup and Costs

I set up the fluval evo v nano reef. I have always wanted a saltwater aquarium in my room and I finally made that happen. Enjoy!

*For Other Newbies* - Do NOT pull off the aptasia anemone after sticking it. Instead, torch it with a butane lighter for a few seconds then seal its crevice shut with super glue. This is really one of the only effective ways at making sure it doesn't return.

**This is in the description.** - DO NOT pull off your aptasia. (I was a freaking idiot on that one) The best method I have found is to remove the rock (if you can) and torch the whole anemone for a few seconds. Afterwards, seal the crevice it is in with super glue. I will be sure to let you know how well this method works.

I am just starting this tank as well started it on 03/30/18
Should I pull my carbon out for cycling purposes?

AS PRODUCTIONS there’s really no point to have it in there during the cycle. It might just delay some things but you certainly can pull it out now. I’d pop carbon back in a week before adding livestock.

What kind of coral can I put in this tank? I have 2 small clownfish.
