I really love this season I think that this is the season where Kate’s jealousy really comes out. She did a really good job holding back in the past but I think she had a harder time containing her jealousy and her feelings once she found out how castle really felt about her.
I love it too, and the previous season, they are my fauvorites from the story. They became really close, in 3rd season Castle realised his feelings, in this season she realised hers
Season 4 highlights two things, beckett's self esteem and value she placed on herself in s2 and s3 is not there anymore, Beckett rejected castle in s2 because he slept with Ellie Monroe and she was right to reject him, castle is an idiot before that , but her treatment of him was uncalled for, in s4 her self esteem and value is not there anymore, which means josh broke up with her , the fact that castle still slept with other women and still slept with Beckett at the end of s4 clearly indicates that the self value she placed on herself in previous seasons is no longer there . Hence castle slept with other women and still managed to sleep with Beckett too

The only person castle slept with in season four was that flight attendant lady and that was only him being hurt after finding out that Beckett remembered him telling her that he loved her but acting like she didn’t remember. He took that as a rejection and slept with that lady on a rebound. I think her self-esteem was fine in the season. I think she was struggling with being happy that she knew how Castle felt about her but also being scared about being with him on top of struggling with the trauma of almost being killed. She wanted to be with him but knew that she needed to take care of herself first and worried if he would really wait for her until she was ready.
This is by far my favourite season. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that, even though Beckett seemed to be playing with open cards, Castle was completely oblivious. Martha was literally the only one who noticed.

They kinda flipped it around, because in earlier seasons Castle was the one who was more obvious about his feelings (displaying obvious jealousy and trying to flirt with her) but Beckett knew that. So it was a bit frustrating to see that she started to be more obvious with him and all of a sudden he's completely oblivious.

The only thing I don't understand is, how come you didn't put the last scene of this episode in when Castle and Kate finally get together? It kind of left me feeling cheated, only because I know what happens and didn't see it with the other great moments of season 4. I'm not putting it down at all, I was just wondering.
I am sorry to disappoint you Cathy. I think it was just me. I had made a lot of vids about that last scene (if you will have time to look into my other vids) when they finally got together, that is why when I did the season 1-5 moments (which was requested by one of the subs) I was thinking about the less known or less watched clips, but still were beautiful moments. well it wasn't a last ditch seduction it was more of her realizing just how much she needed him. She lets her obsession drive and in that obsession she pushes people away but he was the one person she could never push away
If Becket doesn’t believe in ghost, she could just say it instead of telling bullshits . I gotta said that the fact that she is playing with Castle’s believes in surnaturals things had became too repetitive.
Apart from her beauty I just love Beckett's voice. perfect tone, mellow with a hint of sexiness!
