Rock in the Ruins is a festival held in Forchtenberg, Germany. A great gig, well organised, a superb venue ( in a old castle ruin) that really is amazing when lit up at night. Definitely worth going to !
Thank you for that ... we loved our time on the road and the crowds did love it. gigis were mor elike parties so we all enjoyed it. Anyway, thanks for the comments ! :)
Hello there ... well, the Pogues we certainly ain't as you say .. then agaon we never claimed to be ! However, their ( The Pogues) road manager in Europe did give us the best compliment we could ask for, buy stating we were "better than The Pogues .. and were sober .. " So, as much as we are all entitled to our own opinons ... we thank you for yours ..and indeed the Pogues manager for his .. and leave it at that eh :))
Ok .. time to answer the questions eh ... Sammy Hormer is still Scottish based, but tours all over the place these days working on his solo stuff, and because of that, The Electrics have pretty much been off the road for a fair old while. To answer the Fiddler nationality statement ... Tim Cotterell is English, from Brighton no less. We have had a frenchman play for is in the past, Jean Pierre Rudolph, but he only stood in when the regular fiddle player couldn't make it. More later AV Bhoy
