- This is a taste test/review of the Manager’s Special from Jason’s Deli. It includes Mac & Cheese, potato chips and a Ham Muffaletta. The Ham Muffaletta is grilled, crusty Muffaletta bread with an olive mix and creamy provolone melted over layers of ham. It was $10.79 + tax.

The muffaletta is a sandwich from New Orleans. The olive topping is called a tapenade. (Top-ah-nodd)

For ruffle type chips we love the good and gather target brand. Perfect thickness and nice and salty
We don't have that franchise here. We do have a "Jersey Mike's" and their subs are the bomb.

I had an alert when you said carrot! I remember in a recent review Tami mentioned you don't like the taste of carrot. $10.79 would be good if it were a full sandwich. For a half sandwich, seems expensive to me (but everything is nowadays). Jason's Deli IS fast food, though. It is if you don't want the same old burgers or greasy spoons.
I really like the New York Yankees they have. It has corned beef and Swiss on it but I would get it on a different kind of bread since I don’t like marbled rye which is what they put it on. I have a Jason’s deli about 50 miles from me. I haven’t been in years tho
When I was living in Cape Coral/Ft. Myers area years ago, that was my first intro to Jason's Deli. My brother loved it. I thought it was nice too back then.

I'm in kind of a "franchise deadzone" as I've never heard of this. Closest location looks to be a 2 hour drive. Looks pretty good though! I'd like to see a location open here.

Subway was just as high for the foot long no chips or drink I think there is a Jason's near the ATL airport.
We have had Jason's Deli here in Texas since the 80's. Wish you could have had one of their muffaletta from back then. They have changed their recipe and it is not near as good. Your review was spot on they are putting way too much olives on them now and the sandwich is so dry compared to what it used to be and it is way overpriced for what you get. You use to get a whole muffaletta for what you pay for a fourth now. Love your reviews Kevin keep up the good work..
I love Jason’s Deli. We have used them to cater meetings. I like their Panini’s and Clubs. I’ve heard good things about their potatoes. They do have a good salad bar. I’ve never had their Muffalettas. I would have to ask them to remove the olive stuff. I’m not a fan of olives. Thanks for a great review Kevin.
The point of a Muffaletta IS the olive salad. Don't order it.
