Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

It just makes u wonder: if they’re prepared to break one of the golden rules (to not allow passengers on the flight deck) during the landing. And not just ANY landing. Then what else are they prepared to do (or NOT do). Rest assured I’ll avoid that airline at all cost 😟

I remember when I was a kid and we were flying to Phuket for the first time and I am *terrified* of flying, which the flight attendants noticed because I was crying and really scared. Then one of them came to me and told me that I could see the cockpit if I wanted to. Mind you, this was a Thai Airways Boeing 747, the biggest airplane I've ever put my foot on and seeing the cockpit and having them explain what everything does made me feel a bit more calm. It was an experience I will never forget.

Axel Subotincic nope, not at all. It’s just a fire test button. The fire retardant button is underneath a plastic cover so you can’t press it accidentally
This was an excellent vlog. You will most certainly win an award. It was filled with natural emotions, excitement and your spirits was oozing joy and fear that I felt from both of you. No one could imitate your feelings and capture it on a vlog in a short span without retakes. This is why I love you both.

I landed in Paro several years ago. That approach to the runway was THE most exciting landing I've ever experienced!!! Love to Bhutan!!!

I love this. Especially the landing. I hope you realize how fortunate you were to get the experience of landing from the CP, especially on a runway like Bhutan. Also, many pilots consider your landings at Lukla, St. Maarten, and Saba to be more challenging than this. But, I suspect, they aren't among the chosen 15 that are allowed. That was awesome. Thank you.

This is my third time rewatching this episode. It never ceases to amaze me
We flew in there in Nov. 2001. Due to all the very rude Europeans, we got the seat with no window. The airline attendant also grabbed us and took us into the cockpit so we could see Mt. Everest. We really enjoyed our time in Bhutan.
I was so excited for your Bhutan vlogs because of your stories. This is definitely gonna be amazing, can't wait to see more from Bhutan.
