What really is meaningful in your videos is that you are okay with being natural, down to earth and not trying to hype anything. Obviously you have a trainload of experience and that is valuable, but communicating what is important by just being you is equally valuable. Thanks, new to Art2Life…will be more involved later
Really brilliant explanation. Completely get the reasoning that it’s best to keep it simple and I remember quote “A confused mind says no’” - which was to do with selling, but works here with an artwork too. The viewer gets confused about what you’re trying to say when it’s too busy. Thanks, Nick, this helped hugely! Jo
Whenever I get to the editing stage, I always get distracted about all the points I made! You’re right, I need to double down and choose t the one or two things I need to present. 🙏
Very wise and important both in process, in an exhibition and in listening - stillness, open space, Focus - and very good advice to choose the things you like and really want to show - great video
I have A.D.D. It shows in my work. Sometimes that is okay, but lots of times it is not. I am aware of this issue and I am challenging myself to work a little differently. Gesso is one of my best friends! This information you have shared will help me even more. Thank you!
Here Vincent from Holland, Open space is so important for me and quieter , thanks again your are so cool. Color , temp, and than that one thing . I go to find it.
P.S. This topic was very timely. I am working on an idea and I can already see, (thanks to you), that I have too many things happening. I tend to like bright, concentrated colors so I have to be careful with over doing it. You also help me to realize that I am trying to say too much in a single painting. So this may be a series? Thanks again, Jimm

Thanks for all that you share. I watch these videos multiple times to keep me moving forward and less spinning my wheels!
Thank you again for more gems of wisdom 🙏. This is definitely my current challenge..... as well as choosing which element to emphasise ....

How do you see it show in your work, if I may ask?
Excellent advice! Thanks! Less is more-
You are explaining it all in such a cogent, useful, crystallized manner. That it all comes down to DOMINANCE. 😉
Thank you. Currently working on a few 40 x 30 inches of confusion. Trying to bring continuity to them. This was helpful
I always learn from you. Thank you!
Thank you , I needed that exact direction today .
Thank you so much! Exactly the advice I need right now.

The content of your uploads is great, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Is there a reason the uploads are not at least 720p
