I just want to say how much you really reveal and appreciate your OWN African heritage. As and African American that love embracing my roots, I see so many Africans looking more like the Western World than appreciating and embracing being true Africans. It really makes me sad. The Western World should never be the standard for Africa. They wear fake brands so they appear to look more like Americans. Stay true to yourself. Love your sense of humor.😊
The world is a vast and beautiful place, my sister. We can embrace our culture and still enjoy everything the world has to offer. Africans are expressive and creative and LOVE nice things and have the money to splurge ❤Enjoy life!
@@homodeus8713 when embracing the culture of a people that have raped, plundered, murdered and stolen ones identity, called our people savages, demoralized and berated and abused them should never be looked at as a standard to be enjoyed. That means their behavior is excepted and normalized by the very people they have abused. STOCKHOLM SYNDROME is what it is called when you IDENTIFY WITH your PERPETRATOR and no longer accept your own culture. Many Africans have done this leading to the continent being taken over by non- Africans and the leaders being bought. The story is longer than most here understand. The world sees it as weak an easily manipulated to obtain. Rafiki wake up. Enjoying Western World pleasures is a risk of loosing your homeland.

In 2015, in Bangalore city of India, I went for job from Kolkata(my hometown)…in my office there was a senior lady who was Nigerian. She was settled in India and also was married to an Indian man. So one day in our office “show your regional cloths”…she came wearing a beautiful Nigerian outfit..I and everyone else were awestruck and were looking at her like all the time. She was anyways beautiful with so good skin and hair..but then that Nigerian outfit made her look like a queen. Not to mention, she is the most loving lady I ever met.
The fact that this song is originally from Cameroon make me prouder if possible 😂. Thank you
