- This Intamin Impulse shuttle coaster launches from 0-63.4 mph (0-102 km/h) in just over 3 seconds through a glass funnel, propelling riders vertically through the iconic red roof to the highest point on Yas Island at 210 feet (64m), before they experience zero gravity as they plummet vertically back down.
The trains also feature both forward and backward seats so guests can enjoy the launch in two directions.

This is like the kind of launch coaster I used to build in Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 that everyone paid a fortune for but it would have been garbage in real life.

That seems unreasonably short... Like a less intense, non inverted version of Wicked Twister, and just 20% the ride time.
Nate Kenny I actually rode this last Thursday. The video genuinely doesn't do it justice. It was a great ride.

To everyone who thinks it doesn’t look good, trust me it feels very liberating when you fly upwards and stop midair when your velocity reaches 0. I’ve played all the rides in Ferrari world and this is actually one of my favorites

Why do they brake it so early going backwards instead of allowing airtime over the hump? Doesn't make sense IMO.

Why, Ferrari World didn't have much space at all to work with, it replaced a rubbish drop tower and they just got flying aces and are getting mission Ferrari later this year which are two big coasters, at least they got a coaster. It's just meant to be a gap filler coaster and you never know, it might be really good. Don't judge rides you haven't been on.

Opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one and mine is that this ride looks like a waste of money, time and effort. There's a lot I like about Intamin but what is the point of such a small coaster with a straight layout?

Damo Coaster a family ride would be better suited in a different location & not go backwards. you spent the money to put a spike in the middle of the building. take advantage of it.

Well everyone is saying its lame, and not exciting, so its obviously not a thrill coaster
Damo Coaster It's intended to be a thrill coaster, you can't say the fact that its lame means it's a family coaster! i agree it doesn't look great but it's still thrilling.
I class it as a family coaster is because its like Intamins version of Zamperla Diskos that have a airtime hill.
Damo Coaster how can you compare this to a Vekoma Disko coaster? they are completely different rides with comoletely different purposes/target audiences. This is much faster, much taller, has a quicker acceleration and is 100% better than a Disko. Just treat this like a pocket rocket - a short ride that packs a punch. As someone in another comment said, you'd rather have this than a drop tower, which does a similar thing. It's also visually stunning and makes a great centre point for the park.

I watched and rewatched to see if i missed something.
Australia has a similar coaster at Dreamworld Queensland... Steel Taipan
some other rides that feature vertical spikes that opened before steel taipan:

The ride is actually way more exciting than it looks here in this bland ass pov. Totally doable by even those who fear roller coasters.

Wait, I saw that there was more to this ride when they released construction photos. It went through a building and did an inversion... pause at 00:21 and you can see the rest of the ride on the left... why didn't it go to that part!?

I know they were limited on space and all but this is just terrible, this looks like a copy and paste of some coaster from steam workshop. really could use a second spike or something.
Everybody who come to the park are not that brave to sit on those giant rollercoasters ride. Here there is ride for everyone. Dont be so negative. It has got other 3 amazing roller coasters too. Also they have made excellent space utilization. This ride is visible as soon as take a few steps from entry. If you have visited you will know it. Some rides are such that you get to know only after experiencing it. Quite enjoyed on this one too. Cant be compared with formula rossa and flying aces or any other in the world.
