It has its shortcomings, but, even foregoing Sonic's spotty history of 3D games, Frontiers is still bare minimum a good game. It's mechanically funcontional, consistent, and stylish
I don't think the weird writing quality, certain jankiness, and overall lackluster world-building are enough of a hindrance to call the game anything worse than just "good" (when considering a "good" as a 6 or 7 out of 10)

'Undefeatable' holds a special place in my heart because its the first of these songs you get to hear and it goes so hard, you aren't expecting it. But 'Break Through It All' I think goes even harder and is the best song of the three. And this cover is amazing, thoroughly enjoyed it.

A big reason why is a bit earlier the song has a big tone shift from the gritty and intimidating riffs into that defiant mood and hypeness for the rest of the song. Those parts hit so hard because of the overwhelming tone the first half sets. It's honestly masterfully composed
I love the whole song, but as soon as you hear "SO BREAK THROUGH IT ALL" the rest of the song is just straight flames. 🔥
If you ever do find your flame, Bring back guillythekid for the singing vocals and bring JTMusic for the rapping vocals. it would be so badass!

I am obsessed with this - I'm going to be listening to it on repeat on CZcams until it's on Spotify, and then I'll loop it there. I'm a huge fan of the sonic franchise and mixed reviews for Frontiers made me hesitant to spend the money on it, but this song might push me over the edge and get me to make the purchase. Thank you for making such an incredible cover!!!

Screw the mixed reviews, the only negatives people bring up are so minor, none of it is game breaking, i got to play it at a friend's and had a blast from just the first island and I'm sure you will as well
If you’re not a sonic fan and don’t care about the story, it’s a 6/10. If you are a sonic fan, it’s a solid 8/10. No more shitty writing or mischaracterization. Fantastic soundtrack, great boss battles. It’s already on sale, just get it.

That's what makes this cover lose a few points... I still like it but the fact Gilly is trying to match Kellins voice/register just kinda bugs me
I prefer when covers don't just copy the original perfectly. If I wanted to hear the original, I would go listen to the original.
