    I think it’s also worth mentioning you can turn off ignorelotlevel so you can stop the camera from jumping around when moving it around while you have various levels of floors etc.

      YES!! I only learned about this recently so I did not know when making this video. I still need to look into the details of how to do this but ever since I’ve known this was a thing my mind was blown. The camera jumping is one of the must frustrating things!! How do we see a view with both ceiling and floor (like many other Sim builders do)? Even if I manage to have eye-level view, but the ceiling is not in the view...

    • @RosannaTxt
      @RosannaTxt  Pƙed rokem +3

      if your in that camera view (the eye level) use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out. If you zoom out you should see floor and ceilings however, if you do this too far the image might get really distorted. If the rooms are big enough, try moving backwards further, this usually helps cause you don’t have to zoom out that far! Hope this helps 🧡

    Darn. The main reason i came here is to learn how to rotate the camera with keyboard shortcuts but i’m a hardcore Sims 4 cam user. I know a lot of longtime sims players also played the sims 3 but i played much less of it and all of the info about how to play it has left my brain, lol. I actually still own it but i haven’t played it or had it downloaded in years and years. i’m scared that it’ll be too laggy and that i won’t know how to play it and get frustrated.

      @@RosannaTxt i figured how to rotate with sims 4 camera!! i actually noticed when i hovered over the rotate button. it’s the >< keys. the only time you can’t really use it to rotate camera is when you’re in build mode and holding an object, it just rotates the object, which is still useful!!

      Even if you use a track pad you can still right click. It depends on what laptop you use if there is a right mouse pad button in your trackpad, wether a certain area is the right mouse button or if it’s a tap with multiple fingers!

    how can I use the "click and hold" feature to see all around me on a mouse pad instead of using a mouse? I always have trouble.
    :/

    • @RosannaTxt
      @RosannaTxt  Pƙed rokem

      When I used to play on a macbook (and my mousepad also didn't have buttons) my only solution to this was to enable the tactile click. So instead of just being able to click on my mousepad by touching it I'd have to actually click (as if the mousepad was one giant button that I could click). Moving your mouse would then still go through touch but the actual clicking would require me to press the mousepad. This way I could still click and drag. I think in the mouse settings of your computer you should be able to set this up!!
