Viral and heat doesn't need to be on every single weapon if its something the user gets tired using. Viral can only do so much if heat only reduces half the armor values, but with slash, it ignores armor and that damage value with use the full worth of the viral value. Why bother using it when you're not getting the full damage amount you need from viral? Most of the time you only need viral and slash to make it work for you. In this case, raw damage corrosive works fine on this weapon, and it is much fun compared to the old viral and heat meta that many players are tired of, despite the fact it is still meta, no one wants to deal with just one combo all day, its bland and boring, and it adds little to no variety. Hence why people are happy for cold getting buff because it goes with corrosive/cold, which adds a raw damage approach.

Tried this one today. Noticed that incarnon mode always targets the torso, even if you aim at their heads. Don't slot galv crosshairs.

He explained why he isn’t using viral… Viral is pretty trash by itself and gets carried by slash procs. This weapon doesn’t proc slash
