What a pristine car for almost 20 years old. Beautiful interior Mighty engine Supple suspension Imperceptible gearchanges Beautiful soft olive leather. Much better looking than the black leather in the Rover 45 V6. I bet you look forward to a long drive in those magical Volvo seats Sir. I'm sure Mrs Lloyd enjoys this car too.
What you didn't see, sir, was me carrying on whilst someone arrived home to the house opposite. Although I was not parked opposite their driveway, and I am always careful not to do that, the driver made a meal of getting their Ford Kuga back in, and then glared at me for my cheek to park there! As usual, I carried on as best I could.
Hi Joseph, looks like that has turned out to be a thoroughly great purchase. As you say, very little reason to change it for anything else, modern enough to be usable and safe…. and you don’t see them every day!
I am blessed man, sir, being offered cars through the community is absolutely the best way to hear about them! Thank you again for watching, as always.
The saloons are somewhat overlooked in favour of the 'Vs' but hey that is better for you as you're getting the same Volvo dependability at a cheaper price.
I don't know if that is really true, I have not really noticed a massive difference in price between the estate and saloon models within the ones which are offered for sale within the club (which is a surprising number).
@@lloydvehicleconsulting Perhaps I was still associating with the 900 series? I recall a neighbour's met blue 900 saloon was hard to sell and eventually went for peanuts despite 60k miles and yes!...a beige leather interior
I really wasn't that bad, sir, and I did apologise at the start of the video. There's mostly only one way that the channel gets videos uploaded to it, so I have to keep going if I can...

Sir, my lady wife isn't particularly enthusiastic about this car, but she does recognise how well it has been looked after and the purpose it serves.
A very handsome car, sir! Great review, and loved the sounds of the birds singing their hearts out on the walkaround. Roll on Spring!

Looks like we are enjoying this car sir, it suits you perfectly and we all love a Whiteblock, thank you for the ownership Update.
I was very blessed with this one, sir! Mr Coleman will be looking after it soon for some work.

I like your car 🙂. It's elegant and tastefully equipped.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you, sir! Still persevering through trying to make videos....
Very much looking forward to the s40 coming here for a maintenance holiday soon sir.
You are very kind once again, Mr Coleman!

I don't think the 900 Saloons are necessarily cheaper any more, put it that way....
Fine looking car , I’d always go for the estate , we like 2.4 ltr engines !
Yes, the 2.4 V50s are great as well, thank you for watching!
I think keeping the rear privacy glass as it is is the correct decision.
Thank you very much indeed, sir!
A very nice car Joseph are you going to the festival of the unexceptional this year i am going to book my ticket next week
I suppose that you had better book in quickly, sir, as the tickets have been selling fast (in spite of people protesting over the cost, apparently).
I’m guessing the road tax for this will be a bob or two, knowing how expensive my 08 plate 1.6 Mazda 3 is these days.
It's best not to think about it.
Lol, that’s my answer too! Still far cheaper than splashing out on a much newer, cheaper tax car.
@@martinowl , it's been so well maintained that it sort of offsets it, really.
Sound on death door Sir. Chin up. Keep up the pace and Greta vids. Great. Not Greta.
