    Currently on the fence with a coverup or removal. The hypo/per-pigmentation is the part that has me most scared.

      Thank you love, I'm happy to do it.
      I think the bright side is even you decide to do nothing you have a tattoo that you love. My concern was the hypo pigmentation as well, so I made sure to bring that up with my technicians. They assured me that when done correctly the process should not result in that at all. They focus on a slow process and the best settings for our skin. It's so important to find a facility that makes skin care a priority and not just blasting ink away.

    Thank you for this update! I’m currently on the fence about getting an old tattoo lasered. I haven’t seen many reviews from POC in Denver clinics. Your results so far are AMAZING tho!

    • @keishanista
      @keishanista  Před 6 lety +3

      Of course! I'm happy to share the process. My advice would be to do your research on the type of laser the medical provider is using (preferably a "Q switch laser") that works well on deeper skin tones, since the reviews may be difficult to come by. Hope this helps!

    My removal left hypo-pigmentation in the same area as your tattoo. It looks like the outline of the tattoo. I got mine removed almost immediately after I got it, so it could have been because it wasn't a year old or older. My breast tattoo since it was older didn't leave any marks.
    It looks like yours will be good, though.

    • @keishanista
      @keishanista  Před 6 lety +2

      You know what, they did tell me older tattoos are easier to remove since the ink becomes thinner and faded over time. So you're probably right, that may have had something to do with it. And thank you, yea I'm hoping all goes well with this journey. My technicians keep telling me hypo-pig. shouldn't be an issue.

    • @unityaboriginelove6595
      @unityaboriginelove6595 Před 6 lety

      Yes, yours is looking good. It looks like my breast tattoo that was removed with no hypo. Yours show no signs of hypo.

      @@unityaboriginelove6595 thank you for saying this. I have a breast tattoo that I want removed but was scared bc I was afraid of it leaving marks and discoloration. It's old as well

    • @unityaboriginelove6595
      @unityaboriginelove6595 Před 3 lety +2

      @@beoverwait - if tattoo is old and looks like it's fading then I think you will be okay. But be careful because the hypo-pigmentation left on my back isn't cute. I should have left the tattoo or waited for it to age. They don't tell you these things because they want your money. I've seen white people get tattoos removed and don't get the same hypo-pigmentation as black people. Be careful and good luck.

  • @gigibaby2501
    @gigibaby2501 Před rokem

    Mild Blistering is definitely okay after your treatment. It’s a naturally thing for the body to do, and it actually is a positive indication that your body is removing the ink. Laseraway is honestly not the place to go. They don’t even have doctors to offer lidocaine injections which makes the process PAINLESS from my experience. Hence why you mention you didn’t used any numbing because it doesn’t work anyways so why would a place even offer it. Please don’t spread false info on such a big platform ;)

    This is why I don't have any tattoos and don't plan on getting any. It's not like a piercing that can close up. Ink is more permanent. And going through this ain't for me! Lol
