I stopped carrying a high lift for safety and weight. However, I've used a bottle jack and some of the spacers and stuff from Safe Jack for a few years for all sorts of stuff. So far 4yrs laying sideways in the Jeep and the Omega jack hasn't pissed itself and it sees use. Only use I've actually had for my high life was breaking beads and non off road related.

Ha ha it was my hi lift used as a skid and tim did replace it. I still hold my hood down with one and have used it for tons of reasons.The last use was for a winch point wedged in rocks to get us out of a trail.
