There's two types of cyclists: the ones that buy exactly what they want with little regard to the price because as long as it's exactly what you want and lasts, it's worth the price. And then there's the cyclists that search every nook and cranny of used marketplaces to find the best bike deals possible without having to steal a bike. Colton aka sixspeedsoul from Tucson, AZ is definitely that second type of rider. With a few rounds of flipping fixies, he was able to build his dream bike, a limited edition Milano Red Hook Crit Cinelli Vigorelli, for absolutely free! Let's take a closer look at it in this fixed gear bike check.

This whole story is legendary. Better out in the streets to be appreciated than kept thirty floors up behind closed doors
Just built my first fix gear, no fancy gear but it is reasonably dangerous to a 56yr old! Learning to skid now!
I actually did the same thing, I began with an aventon mataro low I got for $250 then I kept selling and trading and havent added a single dollar to my budget, I did this for one year and now I'm at a cinelli mash bolt 2.0 with h plus son archetypes laced to dura-ace 7600s, vision track cranks with a swapout of an alter and a orbita turbine chainring, nitto bullmoose bars, a fizik arione saddle and a thomson seatpost.
The "real estate mogul" he bought it from single handedly drives the entire bicycle market here in SLC. The dude is a legend. Speculators estimate he's spent over a quarter million at my local bike shop
He must be pretty fit✨
All of my bikes have been free as well; I just worked to make the money to pay for them.
Honestly, marketplace can sometimes be a treasure trove, theres always somebody moving somewhere, and they're tryna offload some bikes on decent prices, and yeah.
Loo this isn't rare I've found several cinelli complete for 400-600 buck
@@alexgrinage sheesh what city. Cheapest cinelli in nyc ive seen was 700
I found my cinelli mash bolt 1.0 in marketplace at only 200 dollars. It was over painted and they logos were erased but it is now a custom raw finish cinelli mash
This videos isn’t listened in your recent uploads but I’m sure you’ve put that together by now from the lack of engagement. Great video 🤘
for me it was uploaded 30 min ago(with a notif). is it patreon privileges?
Ironically this video is not wabi sponsored…
Costed!?
"Costed" ? really bro?
He did mean "coasted"
Thats why I like you Zach, instead of going with the typical hypebeast fixie build, you went with classy steel. This Vigorelli has a sweet paint scheme but it does nothing for me. I notice the younger kids are constantly swapping parts, frames, & parts to try and one up their friends (or to show off on social media) with rarer or more expensive parts. Its strange to me to care that much what other people think. I ride a lugged steel track frame with my preferred choice of parts and I love it.
The frame is made of aluminum tho
@@elijahxiao9591 which is why he said it does nothing for him. and likes Zach for his steel frame, not the cinelli.
that Redhook crit crank set would be so fire on that bike, Deluxe used to have a set for like $500 or so
Sick bike , and glad it's not hidden away in a office building anymore
I used to resell sneakers the same way, lol. Sneakers and bikes should both be used, not shelved inside.
Costed
Easy to assemble. Surprisingly lightweight! Size just right for 32" inseam.
Cost* 😂😭
My guy word of love here! Not being a grammar nazi but it's "costs" not "costed". Just pointing it out love your vids man
currently doing this method for 5 years and built a tracklocross that cost me less than 400$
Not going to lie, I’m a little sad that the video wasn’t sponsored by Wabi
Bike industry is holding breath.....
So I must confess im a Dutch former hardcore roadie.. the last thing I cant seem to shake is the dropbars, looking at this bike and most bikes here is the sweet rised flat handle bars that look nice.. will be way more comfortable...
someone link me good flat handlebars please
Zach rules!!!
Great shoes. What are you using these days?
What’s your opinion on a leader 725 new to the and is a Bianchi pista a good bike to start with ?
cool story!)
Hey I just realized, are you still sponsored by Wabi?
Boooolt loooooock!!love it :) I built my own from sram mtb hub.
nice 🎥👏👏👏
...did zach swap out his h plus sons for velocities? 😂
For White hubs instead of sticker hubs.
It needs drops
I stopped watching as soon as I spotted Gator-whatever tires. This means guy can ride $400 hi-ten frame complete bike with heavy 40mm rims and be completely happy.
2ND!
Damn it I didn’t get the first comment!
