The lunch on 5.00 looks too healthy for a school lunch in the UK.
You really need to fix your audio, it's a big problem that detracts from the enjoyment of the video.
Perhaps I missed it but what is an Assassination Classroom?
@@gerardburton1081 Ha ha, yeah they fed us well and we got a lot of exercise on this trip.
@@edwardfletcher7790 I think the audio is fine. I'm just an independent youtuber working alone. I'm not a company.
"You have a boyfriend?" "I have a husband." AAAHHHHHH!!! lol
That was too funny.
😂😂😂
They always respond like that in anime too
🤣🤣🤣
yes, 😂😂😂😂
Not the "i Will be next husband" has me dying
That looked really fun, and the kids will probably remember this experience the rest of their lives.
They will remember it forever and so will I.
@@OrientalPearl and us your subscribers
@@ZoeMuller80 and the whole universe will.
Plus, they can go back and watch this video in 20 years!
@@ChrisSlack if the CZcams still be there
As a person that works with high schoolers in the US (specifically NY) it's so cool to see similarities in behaviors and wittiness around the world in other cultures. The rapport with kids is so important and you could tell there was good bond between the adults and the kids. I loved this video!
That’s awesome that you get to work with high schoolers. They can be a lot of fun.
I study in a school for tons of immigrant children learning the dutch language and it's so funny to see how everyone gets along and is every character you could see through middle school and highschool, the popular group the nerds quiet kids and who not! But by the end of the day everyone gets along and talks to each other dispite race or religion and its the sweetest thing I've experienced, I'm 17 and this has made a big impact in my life and has changed the way I think. This video just as I watch it, it's just so similar to what I experience on a daily basis lol and it's truly amazing.
upstate, Long island or NYC?
actually its way different right here theyre having fun and well mannered. nyc has a bunch of criminal drug abusing students and abuse others for their own "fun". so i dont see the similarities
"NEXT HUSBAND IS ME" got my dying
Me too. Those kids were funny.
I miss when your young you can get away with saying that 🤠
@@explainlikeyour5746 lol true
That looked like a fantastic experience! Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.
Glad you enjoyed it!
1:10 English confuses him so much, that he forgot his own name.
Look children, that's why you never approach a random Japanese with english in public. 😂
Have you ever learn a foreign language? I mean for real not on a duolingo application by yourself. Do you know that for some people speaking another language can be stressful and challenging? English is no exception. It's need a lot of courage to speak in front of other people when it's not your language and yeah stuff like that can happen. Nothing to made fun of.
@@m.g.6321 but how did he forget his name?
@@wins._7 I'm not in his mind, but I use to teach French to immigrants and I notice that, especially asians in beginner level, tend to translate the meaning of their names. So maybe he was thinking how to say his name in English or he was thinking if it is better to say his first or last name first (since in Japanese they say their last name before the first). It could be also only nervosity.
I think it's because Japanese people invert their phrases compared to English, so after he said "my name is" he would naturally have ended the sentence but he forgot to say his name, while actually he was doing right!
I think Sidus is right. Im learning Japanese recently. They form their sentences by putting the object before the verb. So instead of “I eat apple”, they say “I apple eat”. Since the dude already said the “eat” part, i guess he confuse that he alr end the sentence
I've decided that I'm gonna teach english in Japan when I'm older, and seeing your experience makes me so excited to actually do it, helps relieve a lot of my unnecessary anxiety
That’s cool. You could try it out for a year after college.
Get a teacher's certification in any subject and get a position at an international school. They take good care of you.
Pretty sure there are people who are going to tell you that you shouldn’t, because of the culture shock and everything. And how Japanese kids are ignorant, yata yata yata.
My aunt is an English teacher in Japan and to her experience, she pretty much enjoys it. But again, the culture difference was the hardest thing for her.
I also grew up in Japan and I had this funny ALT and I asked his experiences of being one. You can really tell how he loves his job a lot by the way he talks about it. He’s been teaching in Japan for 11 years. He understands Japanese but he can’t speak Japanese lol. While I’m the opposite. I can understand English but I can’t speak it. So he talks to me in English and I talk to him in Japanese, it’s so funny
So if someone says don’t be an English teacher in Japan, just keep in mind that not everyone has the same exact experiences. Try it out first, quit the job if it isn’t for you.
@@OrientalPearl Yeah, because teaching is all about treating it as a tourist year?
@@iatsd No, but it will give you an idea on if you like it or not. It's important for a teacher to like their position so that they can teach their kids better. Teacher happier = teaches better = kids like teacher
The fun you can have teaching English! It makes me want to try out teaching sometime in the future. The kids make it seem worthwhile and I'm sure you learn lots of life skills in doing so.
It can be a lot of fun especially if it's just a short-term program. Teaching as a volunteer for a month is pretty fun. I did that once after graduating college.
@@OrientalPearl Oh, I'll have to look into volunteering as well. I never knew that was an option!
I’m very proud of your students learning English as good as they are I’m sure they will be perfect at it when They get out of school….❤
I'm so proud of them too!
All those kids will remember that day very well. It s wild how schools in Japan are a completely different experience than here in the US. The Uniforms, school chores, etc.. reminds me of my own way back Catholic school days but more fun.
Yeah, I’m sure their normal school day isn’t as fun as summer camp lol
The world is beyond US for your information.
Your students seem bright and happy. :) You can tell the staff are a good team. Being a teen is hard and kids deserve to enjoy their learning experience!
I loovveed seeing the kids take turns introducing themselves and practicing speaking English. That was hilarious and so much fun!! 🤣💜💜
I’m so glad that you liked it Breeze. I’m planning on releasing the Hawaii video next.
"NEXT HUDBAND IS ME" 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
I love your videos! I can relate with you as a fellow polyglot being fluent in English, German, Italian, and Swedish. Switching between languages is so fun and always brings a smile to those who least expect it.
Thank you so much! That's so awesome that you know all of those languages!
@@OrientalPearl Thanks! I always love it when you switch between languages!
I remember that it wasn’t fun for you when you taught in CHINA 🇨🇳 but they were young and didn’t listen 😅, made fun of your CHINESE 😢and some of them clung to you like a MOMMA😊. These older ones have hormonal tendencies but they seem eager to succeed… it sounds promising👌🏽👏🏽. I hope they ARE MOTIVATED ENOUGH to become proficient. The language journey is AMAZING 🙆🏻♀️ to watch. Thanks for taking the time to share this inspirational episode.
That's awesome that you still remember that video. That's one of the early ones.
"hormonal tendencies" 😂😂
You always offer such a unique glimpse of what learning another language can really do. Looked like some great memories were made (:
Thank you. I’m glad I could share this with you.
The boys are so genki and so funny!😂It reminds me of the English class when I was in highschool.
I hope many kids enjoy learing English and not afraid of making mistakes😊✨
Yeah, these kids really came out of their shells. They didn't mind making mistakes.

This is so heart warming. Salute to all teachers! Heroes of tomorrow!
So beautiful to see how much fun the students had with you as their teacher.
It’s so much more fun when you can just volunteer for a couple of days. I taught as well in Japan and it’s not for everyone! So glad you could just chill with them and have fun. 😊
You’re so right. And filed trips are the best.
This video filled me with joy!
I finished my job applications for Japan. some people did not understand this dream of mine which hurt. But after watching this video I realized my dream is valid and not everyone has to understand it and this is an experience I would love.
Hope my interviews go well!
Love this! It is such a difference maker when you can learn a different language and get to interact with those kids! They will remember this for a long time!😁❤️
I will remember them too. They were cool.
I love how you were teaching English just for fun. 😊
Ha ha, I like volunteering.
Pretty cool to see inside the Japanese school like this. It was fun to see you interact with the students & other teachers.
こんにちは We enjoy all you videos, keep them coming. Thank you for representing the US in such a positive way. ありがとう
Thank you so much. That's very encouraging.
Thanks Anming for everything. I have a decent level in russian now after a year. I got a teacher now after finishing the pimsleur lessons and some russian pod. I started to learn chinese in this January. English is not my first language. 😄 i started this journey thanks to you.
P.S: i miss your videos. Hope to see more soon.
That’s awesome! You’re using the same tools to learn Russian that I’m using for Korean.
That classroom is gorgeous! What a beautiful place, and what an experience.
Awwww! I look forward to being able to show support on your patreon!
Being a teacher of native speaker I should say these students are the blessed ones 'cause sadly in my place we don't have native speaking teachers. Amazingly, your students are learning much from zero to the top level. By learning the medium of english,if necessary they can travel world wide without a doubt. 🙂
I subscribed a couple of years ago (and I always like the videos), you are entertaining and informative. I've always known you as Anming, I've watched all of this content and today discovered your name. It took me long enough 😁
Wow, thank you so much Mark. I'm honored that you've watched all of the videos.
OMG this looked so fun. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for the other summer camp vod hopefully!
Yeah, I’ve been holding on to this footage for a long time. I finally thought of a good theme for it.

Love this so much! Looks like such good fun! Can't wait to see more videos from you. ❤️
I love you too! I'm working on the next one right now.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's a nice inside look at what being a teacher abroad might look like, and it seemed to be a lot of fun :)
I’m glad that you liked this video Jack. I’d like to make another one soon.
Loved seeing the interaction with the kids. Everyone one had so much fun. The boys were cute and comedic. Are you doing more of these types of visits?
I contacted my friend who owns the school and asked him when the next one is. I think it's not until July.
@@OrientalPearl will there be chances the kids watch this CZcams video? :)
We will always support you no matter what. Just know that things will get easy gradually.
Thank you Sophia.

That is so cool you tried it Alyssa! Seeing the kids also on a out of school day was nice to see & glad to see everyone having fun in the dodgeball game. Oh the boys asking you the boyfriend will always be priceless.
This brings back memories of my teaching on the JET program years ago. Thank you!!!
Glad the video brought back good memories for you.
What a lovely vid. It feels like its so relaxing there and the beach looked amazing! You are such a natural at teaching as well i must say.

Funny episode today. I really enjoyed this one. Thank you
Thank you Jerry. I'm working on the next one.
OMG that is probably the best video I've ever seen 🖤🖇 This is kinda lookin so fun 😂
Awww, I'm so happy you think so.
love the good atmosphere between different cultures.
But, But I am subscribed. You are right, I fully watch every one of your videos as you know, cause they are brilliant. I remember some of these hits from back when you initially released them. Well you accomplish one of your travel goals that you mentioned in this video, since you and Tommy finally made it to Hawaii for a vacation. This less structured view of Japanese students showed that the same types of students are in every class, no matter where in world. Additional footage made everything new.
Thank you so much Jim! You’re right! I said in this video that I wanted to go there. By the way our friend Ninjamonkey is coming back to Japan next month. I’ll probably hangout with him again.
@@OrientalPearl I know and hopefully one of you or better yet both you will film some of your interactions. The day you released your previous video I mentioned that it was a good day because you had released a great video and then Ninja Monkey went on about how great you and your channel were. A subject upon which we are in 100 % agreement.
@@OrientalPearl Yess!! hehe
That was fun to watch and you're pretty athletic with a good throwing arm.
Thanks Thomas. I'm pretty active. I like to run 3 times a week.

What a great experience that must have been! 😀
Thanks for video i hope you uploaded most of videos of japan classroom by the way love from INDIA❤❤❤❤
Teaching Japanese students english must been fun.
It can be a lot of fun if you're not doing it everyday lol
This school is so beautiful! the beaches also.. fantastic!
I've watched an insane amount of content where Americans/brits travel to japan and China etc. Twitch streams and youtube videos- and none of them catch the heart and personability of the people that live in these areas. I love your videos so so so much! please keep making them
Thank you so much. I’m happy to be able to capture these movements.
Ah, I miss doing summer camp and actually going somewhere with my students.
Sigh, maybe this year.
This video is awesome, and looks insanely fun.
Thank you so much. We had a really good time.
Hi I watched a lot of your videos now I find them very interesting and informative. I lived in Spain and spoke Spanish ok I think but wow Japanese and Chinese seems hard.
Thanks for watching so many videos Paul. Maybe if you watch a few more you'll want to take on Chinese and Japanese too.
5:49 How very dare you??!!! I most certainly am subscribed! Hahahahaha! keep up the good work.........x
Enjoyed watching. I can totally relate. nothing compared to teaching children who are so disciplined. I taught in Vietnam for over 6 years. One morning during a typica electrical l blackout, I stayed home, knowing the classrooms would be well over 100 degrees. The school director called me freaking out because MOST of my several hundred students were there waiting. When I got there I could literally wring out my soaked shirt. When I saw their excites faces, I finished over 6 hours of intolerable conditions unimaginable in the West.
Wow I envy you ,,so much fun I love Japan & everything about it
This is so cool!
This is my first time experiencing your channel. This was a lot of fun.

they are so wholesome. my high school was just fighting all day
"you have a boyfriend?" "I have a husband". That part killed me. lol it was so funny!
I particularly like that student ! lol
Hi Anming, as someone who grew up in the generation where some or most of the family spent some time in Japan, i personally enjoy watching your videos...it really bothered me when i heard some of the things people write to you. Pondering on it, it all comes down to the simplest answer that they are so jealous that you are living the life you want and they are stuck. Enjoy life while you and your husband are child free. Travel, work and enjoy each other. I love languages, if i could have done this when i was young, well i dont know if i would have been brave enough. May Gods light shine upon you both. ❤
I am from muskegon Michigan and my derma job is what you are doing I am happy to see you did it
I miss Japan.. the best time in my life
I hope you can come back.

É incrível a ligação que você tem com os japoneses. 👏👏👏👏👏👏😊parabéns.
Wow. That Japanese guy was more cheeky than I ever was in any foreign language class introduction. I remember in college one guy said he was learning Spanish to talk to girls. That made me laugh but this guy was way over the top.
Ha ha, at least he was being honest about why he wanted to learn Spanish lol.

It must be nice to get to go outside during the day! The US really doesn’t have opportunities for older students to be able to do that
Because america is a communist and dictatorship under a shadow government. Nothing in the country is free, or even on this planet. Having life after death is we’re we all should be looking forward to! 🙏
I actually hadn't subscribed after watching many videos so thanks for the reminder
Japan looks so beautiful and it's really cool to see how a high-school class learns there
Wow looks nice to see a rural place where some Japanese junior high school kids can speak abit English not shyly.... Teaching English is quite fun especially the students try their best to participate and be active 😸
Yeah, it was really cool. I'll remember this experience forever.
You forgot to mention Detroit's greatest contribution to the world, Little Caesars. 🍕
This is a valid point lol
I taught English in Taiwan many years ago. Most of my students were from K-thru Jr. High. Most of the little girls all had a crush on me. They were so much fun to teach, I stayed for 5 years.
