    This could be useful but it does not replace jack stands, you just can't leave a car jacked up that high by only one point while you get under it to work on it.

      I’ve never had a jack roll on me to be honest. Usually what happens if you are at an angle is the jack will begin to lean and want to roll over. But I understand your concern.

    So the Jack Rod falls off if the jack is jacked up higher? It seems you would have to remove the Jack Rod, jack the car up more, install the Jack Rod, then raise the jack a bit more until the safety peg finds a hole?

    • @AGATools
      @AGATools  Před rokem +1

      If jack rod is installed and vehicle needs to be lifted high, just lift the vehicle higher and pull the trigger on the Jack Rod Stand. Because it's spring assisted, it will extend the Jack Rod Stand. If it's not sitting in the detent hole, just release the pressure on the hydraulics and everything will lock into place.

      @sjagain Před rokem

      @@AGATools Maybe it's just me, but if the Jack Rod is installed and locked into a hole, how can you first lift the vehicle without the Jack Rod falling off? You could raise the vehicle about 1/2 in before the Jack Rod end is no longer in contact with the jacks support bar. You can't jack up the vehicle and pull the trigger on the Jack Rod at the same time. Maybe you should make a short video to demonstrate the technique.

    • @AGATools

      There's a mixture of both. So what we are doing in the near future is have a Jack Rod Stand for both 2 ton jacks and 3 ton jacks.

    • @AGATools

      With the load on the floor jack, it will require A LOT of force to activating the lever.
