- Ixalan was a set that I legit did NOT like the flavor of but that won't stop me from opening a booster box of it and looking for sweet pulls.

I really liked the theme for this set. Dinosaurs, pirates, vampires and merfolk in a big fight is right up my street.
Glad you're back on the Magic train man. Coincidentally, my love with MTG was reignited and I started tuning into your content, around the time you left Unsleeved Media to focus on The Quartering. Happy to see my favorite CZcamsr back on and nose deep in the cardboard crack.
Bruh dinos are friggin amazing. It's rotated out of standard though. Wizards is keeping the creature type Dino in new sets too. Only reason I care about the new one... nice Huatli Haha

This was one of the few newer sets i could really dig the art on
Ixalan was fun. Got old but the initial tribal matters theme was cool. Also was neat to see the latin themes with natives and conquistadors

I remember you were banned close by ixalan cause it was one of the last sets I played. Stoped playing when they ban you. I really liked Ixalan. Specially all the dinosaurs and the vampire pirates.

BUt yah, ixalan sucked. They just gave up on that crappy set, when they could have easily had Gods on that plane too, instead of dumb dinos, and they didnt even put real masterpiece cards. Total failure.
I'm not even into this but yet I feel like going buy me some cards and learning how to play the game 🤗

It sucked when Unsleeved shut down, but with Jeremy opening these sets it literally seems like an alternate timeline where Jeremy never got banned and these are the videos from when the sets dropped haha.

I am young, and am new to magic. I wasnt able to purchase many packs of Ixalan, and i started just after Ixalan, so i didnt really gst to play the set... I am so livid... I really hope they go back to ixalan...

Never hated the tribal sets. I own 3 Growing Rites. I LOVE the old school knock off Cradle.

Yes you did go to this prerelease, you were banned about 2 months later about the time unstable came out
I was always disappointed they didn't make a Pabst Blue Ribbon card or token in this set

I love the dinosaurs personally, I have a Gisath Dinosaur tribal commander deck and it's probably my favorite deck I've ever build and so much fun to play

i quit around around the end of kaladesh and came back when war launched its always nice to see people open boxes from that time. Cant wait for you to open hour of devastation it has to be the one set i kick myself for missing out on so many good drops and the chance for lottery cards.
You should leave the mythics and rare lands out

I definitely loved the art and flavor of the vampire and pirate themes in the ixalan series, but man, it was definitely the weakest set ive ever opened.
Whoopsy doopsy poopsy was my take-away from this

Sorry about the bad opening. Ixalan is such a bad set. Neither of us will get those 11 minutes of our life back. I smashed the like button to hopefully prevent your suicide.
