Tesla is great. They puzzle me with this cover. This song is a part of history and it cannot be improved on. I finally got to see Alvin Lee at Cobo Hall with his band "Ten Years Later" and they did this song around the middle of their set. I will always have fond memories of the idealism of the youth in the 60s and 70s. Ten Years After's version is, was, and always will be as great as this song can ever be. Peace
I am one of the biggest Tesla Fan's I know Troy and I have known him since high school and I just got back my high school year book I am holding up the part of the drum set up in the wind it was a great time that day the one day that I really enjoyed the time I spent at my high school his the name of the band was called Wishper and they kicked ass I will always remember that day now that's what I call nice Bay area moment.
While I know this song was released in 2007 (after Tommy left and Dave replaced him) I'm 99% sure that Tommy is playing on this one. Does anyone know for sure? If not, then Dave really must've nailed him amp tone and style perfectly here
I'm a Tesla fan have been since the beginning. I love this song. Good cover, but I think I prefer the LA Guns cover of this song more ( from L.A. Guns album Vicious Cycle).
none of these covers can hang with Alvins,s incredible lead riffs!
These were pretty damn good though.Their cover of Bell Bottom Blues can't top Clapton and Duane Allman either but sure sounds sweet!
Correct, Alvin used prebend push backs and slurr pulls like nobody
Agreed my friend
Great job unique version
Shame on the 4 ppl that gave this song a thumbs down.. lol
They rocked the shit out of this song!!!!!
These cats can do covers out the ass! This and Everything I Own(old Bread classic) are two excellent, well done remakes.
Ball Of Confusion,Bell Bottom Blues,Games People Play,All The Young Dudes.........

Tesla pays homage, they don’t try to improve upon. They aren’t an ego based band.
hey, 7 bonus seconds...lol....thanks for sharing this most excellent cover!

They can cover anything!
Nice cover to a classic
Now that's what I call perfection!!
The original was perfection, this is just good
Nice but the Original by Ten Years After wins out!
LA Guns does a much better version than Tesla
LA Guns - is that L.A. for CA or LA for Louisiana)?
