@@Sh1111Sh The toxicity of fans, especially Pinoy and Pinay fans, were too much, and this needs to be discussed. As a Filipino Miss Universe fan, all I want is be supportive., and never look down and bash. They even used the term “freedom of speech” as an excuse to do that. Although I’m good with free speech, but it seems that they didn’t know that words can hurt more than the stab of the sword.
Up until now, I cant still believe Janine lost to Olivia. With that catwalk, poise, fierceness and her iconic answer to the final question. She is the best Miss Universe Philippines in this era.

Because this isn’t the IMG era. If she competed in IMG era she would’ve won just like 2015 and 2018. She competed under Trump’s ownership and Janine simply didn’t have the beauty to back up the great stage performance. Other of that top 5, Venezuela and USA were a lot more beautiful. Janine’s predecessor is a lot more stunning too and only placed fourth.
This is not about IMG or Trump Era. Olivia shouldn't even made it to top 5. South Africa is far better than her. That year, it was really given to Olivia. Janine is alao equally beautiful.

Also, if you want the next Miss Universe Philippines to place in the finals at El Salvador, then be supportive and do not bully and compare other delegates, nobody is superior under God. As long as she performs well and has a good advocacy that complies with the “Force for Good” and “transformational leader” theme, then she can rise. The last thing... if she didn’t place in either Top 16, 10, 5, or 3, always remember this: accept defeat with grace and modesty. We should.

Honestly Venus would have been the 3rd Miss Universe from Phillipines had she answered a bit better.
I couldn't agree more, she got overwhelmed and overjoyed of the fact she was the first to enter semis after a decade, much less penetrate the finals was even beyond her expectation, she just got so overjoyed , not to mention the overflowing cheers of Filipino crowed that night, really pressured her a lot I think that she couldn't pulled out a winning answer, those I think derailed her from winning the crown

Lol. This pageant was already prestigious even before the philippines won their very first crown. Lots of countries participate in this competition not just philippines. I always say celeste being unplaced is one of the best things thats ever happened this year

If I were a judge, I would have given Miss Usa a Low Score during her Swimsuit Round. Honestly, she didn’t deserve Top 10. And I don’t want to be that basher online, but this time, I am one.
My Comments:
Venus Raj- She is the savior of the Philippine Miss Universe. Being the only Asian to advance in semifinals, she proved that the Filipinos are back on top when she nailed her swimsuit and evening gown performance. But unfortunately, her answer in Q and A dropped the chance of her winning the crown.
Shamcey Supsup- Her iconic tsunami walk will be remembered by a lot of Pinoy pageant fans. She is probably the most relaxed and flawless Miss Universe delegate of the country. But I find her something lacking compared to Angola and Ukraine. Her answer is a bit "selfish" that is why she didn't won but 3rd runner-up is the best for her.
Janine Tugonon- The one that got away 3rd Filipino Miss Universe. She is leading in both swimsuit and evening gown. Her answer also is very empowering and on point, giving a message to non English speakers delegate. The first runner-up finish was shocking knowing she nailed in all categories, a sign that Trump has influence on selecting the winner.
I can only imagine how frustrated the Filipino fans must have felt when Janine lost because in 2010 and 2011 the question round was what took them out of chance. However Janine was flawless in her answer and Olivia Culpo was not good at all. She was just pretty and had a nice personality.
Miss Philippines delegates are so Strong until panel judges realizes "The big change is coming right in Miss Universe 22." but even though Celeste Cortese Miss Universe Philippines 2022 delegate was not lucky to get into Top 16. Philippines is Philippines. they have so unique country among the other countries. They have all bunch of queens inside the country of Philippines even though they'r not banged for the title. Philippines is a still powerhouse. By the way, I'm so concern about Miss Universe 22 R'bonney's situation hopefully she get through all this. She is so inspiring and strong.

All Philippine girls during Trump era were Trump picks according to Lu Sierra.
Shamcey could have easily won that year. Her illogical answer defeated her. It is her luck that she got 3rd runner up position that year. Because even though it was short, miss China's answer was more than her. And after the top 5 qna round, I felt that there is no great difficulty for Angola to win that crown. Because top 5 answers were weak. Miss Angola's answer was better but not strong. Because the question was very common and easy.
That year was fit for her, by the way it was someone's destiny rather. 2012,we all knew that that year was pretty weird that Olivia won. Despite of her weak performance yet she still won

The trump era give us different taste every year the swimsuit round & evening gown. Everything was very festive and colorful especially the production. Now I think the end of an era Anne will detoriate MU. She always on the spotlight than Rboney when he acquire the MU. LOL
