- Why doesn't the Holy Spirit provide Bill Johnson with any new material? Why does he keep retelling the same old stories from previous decades?? Wouldn't it be better if Bill and all his copycats used the Bible to preach from?

I don’t know about that. Jeremiah was up against false prophets like Bill Johnson and God not only told Jeremiah not to pray for the false prophets, but God told him not even to pray for the people who the false prophets were deceiving!
Bill Johnson is as false as any of the false prophets in the Old Testament and NOWHERE in the Bible does God tell ANYONE to pray for false prophets.
God’s attitude to such people is unwaveringly hostile. Jesus was scorching in His condemnation of such people.
I don’t see that we are under any obligation to pray for them.

I believe in the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20, in which the church is enjoined to preach the gospel to all nations. 1 Peter 3:15 tells us to have an answer for those who ask about the faith in meekness and fear. Apologetics is about reaching those caught up in the cults. That's why I appreciate the work of Hank Hanegraaff (before his conversion to the Greek Orthodox Church) of CRI who played an instrumental role in steering Herbert W. Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God cult to Christian orthodoxy. If we can't pray for the salvation of lost people, then what exactly is the point of you watching this video?

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit…that’s all I get from this. The Holy Spirit can be quenched and grieved, but He’s not skittish. That’s the main problem I have with this teaching. Jesus says, “I will never leave nor forsake you.” And also, “Surely I am with you until the end of the age.” He is Omni-present.

What’s worse is it causes a lot of anxiety. People walking around as though they’re on eggshells rather than paying attention to their everyday lives and the people around them. What is this an analogy for? To keep from sinning? What happens if the dove flies away?
Actually have two dove juveniles and a mom that spend hours every day on my deck. They are the least skidish bird. They can't even tell the truth about birds. Remember when they got rid of racism?? Thou shall not pass!!

Some of my favorite allegorical fiction has the Holy Spirit represented as a pigeon sent by the character that represents Christ, and the human characters very clearly recognize what it is, and it doesn't act at all like a pigeon. I think we could grant the same courtesy to the third member of the Godhead.
