@@-autumnfeelings I disagree. First of all, yelena from the comics is completely different than yelena from the movies. Natasha had more of an emotional connection to Steve in a romantic way than any other character In the movies. I don't think it would hurt to have Bucky and Yelena relate to having their lives stolen and losing someone extremely close to them.

It would've been intresting to see natasha and bucky interact beyond combat. But since they weren't given a chance, I hope marvel sees the emotional and mental trauma parallels that bucky and yelena have and make that into a foundation for their relationship. Whether they become lovers, or friends/coworkers lol. I just want them to talk about the similar experiences they have so that they don't feel alone, because both characters deserve all happiness, or at least however much they can find. Yk?
I think so too! I feel like yelena/bucky and sam/nat make awesome teams, and imagine if the 4 of them were on a mission together and while sam and nat were being serious and stuff, bucky and yelena were mocking their "plans" and just being their chaotic selves I'd absolutely enjoy that

I don't understand why there are people who complain so much, it's just a ship. There are people who ship Bucky with Steve, Sam, Sharon, or Natasha and others ship Yelena with Kate, Wanda or Carol.

@@justtime3673 yeah, the thing is, that aroaces barely get represented. Now the community has a movie everyone talks about, with a character everyone loves. So it's basically great representation and there was a lot of excitement going on inside of the community, and then you go on your fy page and see people shipping the only aroace character you know romantically with some other dudes. Aroaces were really hyped, and then nobody cared. (At least that's how it felt)
And it kind of takes the spotlight and erases the representation.
You wouldn't ship a canonically gay character with another woman either (at least I hope so lol)

Sorry to crap on anyone’s ship but I’m pretty sure Yelena is Asexual in the comics and I highly doubt Marvel is gonna piss off any Twitter people by taking that away from the character due to how little Asexual people are portrayed in media.
Although I guess if I remember correctly Asexual just means a lack of sexual interest in a person but they can still have romantic feelings for someone.

@@-autumnfeelings yeah if they wanted to give Bucky a love interest I’d utilise one of Steve’s love interests from the comics that was never used in the MCU. Specifically I’d use Diamondback, as you could also adapt Bucky’s arc where he tries to help former criminals/villains atone and have meet Diamondback that way.
