- Often, 45 Degree angles in Cathedral Ceilings are Crooked or Cracked. I'll show you how I hide that fix the crack for good. Comments are only answered for CZcams members and Patreon members due to time, but ask anyway, I'll randomly answer some questions.

I'm about to embark on a popcorn ceiling removal journey-starting with the laundry room-very glad I saw this before tacking the master with a tray-vaulted ceiling. Your channel has been an invaluable resource!

Sure... _now_ you make this video! About 3 months ago I had to rework (not fix!) the peak of our vaulted ceiling in preparation for painting. The repair was triggered by popped nails, probably from lack of support in the peak. So, before long I will have to rework it, but at least now I know how to make it stronger and more even and more attractive.

Feel bad for the trim guy that has to install the baseboards on a rounded corner
Do you skim joint compound on heavy texture drywall? Heavy texture looks like the texture was put on with a 12”knife and is on the ceiling as well. I don’t want to remove the drywall and start over. Just need your opinion.
I skim coated, sanded, primed and painted my entire room (two coats). The walls are now a level 4/5. There are a few small spots where the paint isn't 100% covering, making some areas appear a little bit lighter on the wall (very subtle, nothing that strikes the eye). Can I do touch-ups and go over it again with a small paint roller? I am reading a lot of contradicting stuff on the internet. Some people say you can't do touch ups without re-painting the entire wall, some say touch-ups are fine if you have the same can of paint.
I still have the exact same can of paint and I painted the walls 5 days ago. Can I do touch-ups or will I make it worse?
If hot mud doesn’t shrink, should I use it for taping cracks? GuEss I’m looking for a “best used in this scenario” / general rule of thumb to follow.
Wondering because I prefer the idea of being able to mix powder rather than buying mixed pales. And have it go to waste.

I learned a lot about it (and why my cracks kept coming back) from his video, How To Repair a Large Crack on the WALL using Mesh Tape & Hot Mud. Obviously, I had a bunch of reopened cracks to fix (many had returned in a day or two of using regular mud) and they have all held just fine.
Be aware that hot mud is a bit of a prima donna compared to regular mud; especially when you make the mistake I did and got 15 minute set mud! I notice our Guy shows 45 minute packages.
Any tips of feathering the edges ,I can finish pretty decent but I sometimes have a really hard time feathering my edges any tips would be so appreciated,GOD BLESS

By the way, your video on the hijacking of your channel allowed me to alert creators in my other low-volume channels (although all creators are vulnerable to it.) Some research reveals the malware is in that phony copyright infringement document with a visible .docx extension and an invisible .scr extension. The .scr (for "screen saver") identifies it as a Windows executable file. Once that is opened, the computer is infected with truly nasty stuff.
