Awesome man! Thanks!
This one is gonna be good! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
this is gonna be insane!
I had an 86 . It was used but it was one of my favorite 125s I ever had. Super reliable and the motor just pulled so awsome. Make sure to check the water pump since it was a know issue for that part of the case to corrode
Hey brotha mind me throwing u a question?

Yes, super awesome!

@@MattBerger02 ofc we will. you literally get me through lockdown lol. i love the way that you do it of a budget, all the others spend thousands and thousands on the bikes and they look alright. you spend a few hundred get your hands dirty and make it look amazing. keep it up bro love your content
His channel has been growing a lot though
Hi Great vid, thank you so much for doing this, i used to race yz's in the early 80' in school boys and have an 85 cr 125 skeleton that i have been collecting parts for and one day hope to be able to restore, i have just got a complete engine for it with the usual water pump issue with the condition of the internals unknown. it arrived a few days ago and even though it will be a while be fore i can consider getting it rebuilt, i took the barrel off to check piston bore and crank etc to gauge what will be needed if/when i do get it sorted, it needs a piston and maybe a liner but all was ok , solid crank and no sighs of anything ever exploding in there, i hit a snag when i went to seat the barrel the arm of the atac activator from the crank case seems to not want to seat correctly in the barrel and is stopping it about 1/8 th from home. the last motorcross engine i worked on was a yz 250 h air cooled it didnt have a power valve, it had funnel for tipping more coal in and a lever for stoking the boiler ;) it didnt have the atac chamber attached to the barrel when i took it off so im not sure if this has caused something to spring out of position in the barrel when i lifted it clear but i cant work out how to seat back down, if someone could offer any advise or perhaps you could point this out and how to seat it in one of the vids if you have the barrel off that would be amazing ! many thanks and i look forward to seeing you on the start line with the CR.
WOW! Thank you so much and thanks for the advise!
lets go

Could you please do a video of a step to step process of how to strip down a bike . I know it would be long but it would be very helpful

@@MattBerger02 I literally could watch 2 hours of you just completely rebuilding a bike or literally doing any task your videos are SO amazing and interesting!! And they keep getting better! I hope I can do this myself sometime too. I started on 50cc mopeds and I am currently in the process of flipping it. Trying to make money so I can buy a 125 or 250 and rebuild it!

Hey matt, sick bike, could you do a video that goes over specifica of what you look for in a bike? Like what is too old to flip and what models you will or will not buy? Thanks!

Are your last name Swedish
German!
I’ve seen modern bikes with worse wheels
Man, you always say the piston looks good but you still replace it. Why?
Pistons are wear items and need replaced in intervals to avoid failure, even if they look fine. What I look for is that there is no scoring or damage, which means that it has been running properly and I'll have to do is throw a new piston and it'll be good to go. If there was damage to the piston or cylinder I would need to investigate why and fix it.
