I haven't learned the song all the way through as I have only been playing standard /barre chords for 10yrs... Boring. But just watching this and noodling, my playing has matured a great deal with surprising ease. A warm thankyou

This was in a songbook I had when I first started to play guitar, pretty close to this actually, but they missed a few chords and of course the double stops since it was using chord diagrams. I shoulda been learning easier stuff but it's all I had! lol. Great job Ivor I really appreciate it!
I hear you, its was by far my favourite chord progression Simon did....keep playing mate it's never to late to share talent...miss that quality tv even though Cavett tried to take the piss you could see his head turn immediately turn when Simon did his magic...I'm away to play it on a loop.
Brilliant job, well done! I have been looking for playable chords for this song for years. PS's early guitar version is not simple to play so I can see why he shifted the accompaniment to piano. I'd love to know how the bridge chords go, ' tabbed out and yawning..'. etc. Time to work that bit out, I'd better learn this first though. Thank you.
I just wanted to thank you very much for your effort on this. I almost have it down. I must watch some more of your videos. Why do you have two screws in the neck of your guitar?
Thank you for your comment. Glad you found my lesson helpful. My Taylor 'Big baby' has a bolt on neck and the two screws are the bolts that secure the neck to the body. It's how these guitars are made, it's not a repair or modification. Ivor
