This is the most prominent game on my Shelf of Shame. I backed the KS deluxe and got everything. It's georgous. But I have not played it. It's so immense to learn and though I did didcate to learn it when I first got it (Even played several rounds by myself) I forgot how to play it again. There is also the journey of learning the first game, then playing the full game with advanced rules. It's so daunting, I don't think I'll ever get it to the table. I'll need the perfect group of players, and by then we'd be really inclined to play something else we are already familiar with, and love to play. It's on my for sale list as it sits on my shelf.

I was in the same place which I why it took me so long to review. I watched the tutorial at least 3 different times. For some reason both reading and watching the rules teach did not make an intuitive connection for me of how to actually score points or really what you were trying to do. After finally getting it to the table I am sad I didn't do so earlier. It's really a great game. I do think games like this that are "holiday" focused do also suffer from people feeling like it is a seasonal game.

@@Neon_Gorilla I get this same seasonal reaction when I bring Nightmare Productions to my meetups - despite horror movies having no true off season.
