My take on the storyline. Firstly Shuhua plays two roles (victim from domestic violence, detective);
Secondly the mv isn’t in time sequence. The explosion in the beginning is how the girls covered up killing the abuser (as you can see Shuhua injuries caused by the later fight scene). So yeah, basically a cover up thing. Love it.
Oh and Soojin’s birthday. That can’t be coincidental.
I'm sure the mv isn't entirely chronological, but Shuhua is definitely playing 2 characters, I think.
There are a lot of Soojin links in this. The piece of paper with Minnie, Soojin, Yuqi and Shuhua's birth dates, that there are 6 sets of fingerprints, 6 people in the hallway. "I burn" was Soojin's last album, and the initial accusations and her being put on hiatus happened over the Easter period.
I think there's a lot that could be taken as a metaphor for what happened with Soojin, and it is the clearest reference we have to her in an MV so far.
Oh, and it was released on the 100th day of Soojin's debut as a soloist.
It was self-defense.
In my opinion Shuhua plays 2 characters . The first one is the victim of the fire and the second one is the detective who investigates the situation.
Miyeon is also an investigator who “interviews” the possible killers , like Minnie . Minnie is a rich lady who has something to do with the murder ( I think she could be the wife of the killer ) . Soyeon is the house cleaner of Minnie . Yuqi is a guitarist who lives in the same building as the other members. 8:05 at this point Yuqi finds out who killed Shuhua and tells the others . They go to Investigator Shuhuas home and there they find the killer who tries to kill Shuhua 2 too . They can stop him and burn him in a fire which is their revenge…In the last scene we get to know that Shuhua 1 actually not died.
The vedio practice dropped for a week, I saw when Kristen from Jam republic cone to teach them.
