My mini did something similar, he always had to sniff his way through the snow. He was quite ridiculous about it and would look up with a snowy face then run about and do it again. I miss him, thanks for sharing your Stella, she's a cutie.

Our little schnauzer (Schnappsy) used to LOVE the snow - the deeper the better. She would wine at the door to be let out after a snowfall. She would run all over, chase and attack snowballs. When it was deep (8-10”) she would hop like a gazelle. She would come back in the house twice her original size. Somehow she would have snow/ice balls clinging to he legs and underbelly. We would give her a nice warm de-icing in the sink and dry her off. Then she would run to the door and whine to go back out. Miss her.
Watching these vids reminds me of when mine/my gf’s schnauzer was younger/more agile. He’s an old man now at 17 1/2 years, legs failing, and incontinent.
