The show made everyone laugh so much. We've lost two wonderful comedians and we will miss them. Thank goodness they were filmed so we can enjoy their antics forever. Cindy just passed and it hit hard. A funny, smart, talented person and actress. I hope her family & loved ones are comforted in knowing she did what she loved and gave to so many. Thank You Cindy, you embodied Shirl' and we loved it !
😰😪💔💔 What a beautiful woman and a wonderful actress and person Cindy Williams was. Reunited with Penny and Garry Marshall, David Lander, Eddie Mekka & Betty Garrett up in TV Heaven. RIP sweet lady.💐🙏🌤
Rest in peace Cindy Williams and Penny Marshall ❤❤❤🙏 The show was one of my favorites. I always cracked up when Laverne would laugh, like she did at Shirley's disguise. 😂😂 Loved them both!
I liked the moment when Shirley wanted to keep the horse and proceeded to throw herself on the floor and have a screaming fit, I could not stop laughing 😂.
@@THISOLDOUTBOARD1 yes they were really good I really wish they had shows like this today. They really did work when we were kids so I don't know why they don't think they would work today
Good eye! That episode is from the 1st season (1976), before One Day At A Time (1975). They were in American Graffiti together, but I don't think they shared any scenes.
Doesn't look like her to me, and since she was already starring in a CBS series it's doubtful that she would be willing to play an extra on another network's series.
I think they bounce of each other when it comes to laughter''they are as one talent ,luck, just being there at that right time'' but Shirley Feeney is sharp pretty cute'sexy''but like any partnership'its as one,Laverne is equally good ,sexy and gangly ''which brings the stardom' just like Lenny and squiggy'it would not of worked,as well'' if it had been different partner'
All of them wear their clothes quite frequently, I actually like it. A lot of shows past and present the same clothes were never repeated which always bothered me because most people do have a capsule of clothes they wear over and over. It would be entirely unrealistic based on most incomes of the characters to wear an article of clothing only once. Makes them more relatable to wear favorite articles of clothing.
Hello, on these videos is there real people laughing, or do they have some sort of laughing machine doing the laughing ? Please reply...thanks.....John Steelman
@@johnsteelman1410 - the show was shot in California in the paramount studios - I think it was stage 20 but I'm not sure. in the 2002 reunion Penny mentions the stage they shot the show on.
They are both brilliant, so was Lenny & Squiggy, the only character I can't stand was Laverne's soiled father, he looks like something one found in the organic decomposing pile.

Laverne and Shirley reminds me of Lucy and Ethel🤣

Love and miss shows like this... 😉💕
Rip to them both
Rest in peace, Laverne !!!!!
The best yrs of my life. Clean fun!! I miss you dearly!
I need a bff like Laverne, who will hurry and take the chain lock off the door for me to make sure my angry storm-out isn't interrupted.
hahahha good one !
A very impressive scene, with Both of them, was when they fought with the hideaway bed, in their supposed-dates apartment.
HiYa Pal Yeah, that came in at number 1 in my Top L&S Physical Comedy video
Jackson Kim, Ah, I haven't seen that one yet. ;)
She was priceless

Hello , WOW.....I love Cindy Williams.....I wish I had a girl friend like her, John Steelman from North Carolina.
They don't call her Angel Face for nothing
I can't believe they are both gone 💔
Shirley Willamena Feeney
RIP, girls.
They're both in comedy heaven now
@@kiaguy47 and they brighten it I'm sure. A couple of swells.
Maybe the funniest show in TV history...
Almost as Good as Lucy and Ethel !

Absolutely. Great memories
Mackenzie Phillips as an extra talking to the Sailor at 40 seconds.

My bad, One Day At A Time premiered before Laverne & Shirley. I wonder what she was doing on the show as an extra when she had her own series?
Doesn't look like her to me, and since she was already starring in a CBS series it's doubtful that she would be willing to play an extra on another network's series.
@@johnzenone6940 might have been a prior obligation she had to fulfill. A contract.
Not her. She was on a CBS show and LV was on ABC. Doesn’t even look like her.
My favorite ❤️
HELLO, WOW CINDY WILLIAMS IS SO PRETTY AND FUNNY . . JOHN FROM NORTH CAROLINA . .
You forgot the time as a candy striper and she slides under the bed.
That was Laverne..
I wish Laverne was here....boy would she hate you.
Funny how she had to convince them during the 1st Season that she could do Physical Comedy. They only gave that to Penny at first.
3:23 the sound went out

Yeah, they definitely complemented each other. Like two different pieces of a comedy puzzle.
3:31 Cindy has worn the top many times.
I know, right? She's worn that since the first episode of season 2 and throughout season 5

Never realized this show was too ‘70s for the women like Happy Days.
Comically.
cindy willams shirlkey feeney you are so funny

Comedically.
**comedically brilliant.
the physical comedy was epic.
Love them. But I think shirley is funnier.
Yeah, it's amazing how great of a comedic actress Cindy Williams is after her serious roles in movies pre Laverne & Shirley.
