I don't think of these as the worst fights, but the funniest. It's hard to believe they are no longer with us. TY for sharing this. God Bless You & stay safe.
....that Movie House scene was ICONIC! (3:45) ...there were SO many Girls who actually pulled that move on their Best Friend's Men, and this showed the HUMOROUS side of it! (4:06)
Two legends where 1+1=5. The movie theatre scene 'The Fire Show' gets me every time. The music underscore adds so much to the pre battle activity, Love the character actor who tell them to 'cut it out!' before the catfight begins.
I always wanted for Shirley and Carmine to get togerher. She was trying to save herself. For the next rich man who cone along. Except that never happen.
I thought I liked this show back in the day, but reruns have made it clear what a stupid annoy show this was. Laverne was annoyingly selfish, whorish and ugly. Shirley was wost- her pretense and whining is unbearable, and then there’s her manipulation of carmine- dangling her V in his face, only to keep using him as she desperately tried to land a doctor. A very degrading portrayal of a stupid woman. Laverne was tolerable, and in these “fights” I wanted Laverne to beat the crap out of her. The one w the shopping spree, or the one Shirley was supervisor and especially the one she broke Lavernes jaw- because she was a loser and didn’t want to go to the reunion because she didn’t, you guessed it, marry a doctor. She’d always pretend to be high and mighty yet she was the worst example of a woman using sex.
That is quite true.... except Balki (the taller one) is the naive / shy one but yes I think that is a very good comparison. - although unlike Larry & Balki who marry Jennifer & Mary-Ann also best friends, the girls didn't marry Lenny & Squiggy although Lenny pined for Laverne so often.
@10:12 Shirley: and I hope the next box of scooter pies you pork down goes straight to your thighs! Me: ooooooooh Laverne: Oh yeah? Well I hope the next mount of fish sticks you eat gives you guppy lips! Me:OOOOOOOOH Shirley: what did you say? Laverne: YOU HEARD ME! Me:OHHHH MAN!!!
That's when they made "The Pact". "Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye...never, never again." They both said it in unison. Comic gold! Stay safe and healthy.
In the "Not Quite South Of The Border" episode during the wind storm scene, there's a distinct laugh from the audience. I wonder if that was Eddie Mekka
I always heard that Penny Marshall was always jealous of Cindy Williams. They didn't always get along. There was a bunch of fights. It got so bad it came down how many lines they each had.
except, that if you watch the interviews the two of them did back in the day, they both deny any hard feelings between them.. in fact, Cindy Williams said they've remained friends all these decades.
9:03 They remind me of how angry cats growl and hiss at each other right before they fight 🤣😹😂
They do sound like that! Too funny 😂
“How do you like them apples, sister?” Lol!!
These two were golden! I miss them both because they made me laugh uncontrollably so many times!
Rest In Peace Both Legends 👑👑👑👑.
One of the best comedy teams on TV!
The writing was unreal and these two people, yes, not just girls were the funniest slapstick comedians ever on TV.

Laverne and Shirley was the greatest team of the 70s. Beside Lucy and Vivian of the 60s.
Pam Hi also Lucy and Vivian (Ethel) in the 50s
LOVE the fight in Supermarket Sweep!
Yeah, that's a classic.
Rip Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams
Love this show and miss the good old days!!!!!

I want to believe she eventually realized that was a foolish dream and love was more important and married Carmine.

@@lewloului Never post anything when you are drunk.
10:45 Laverne slams the Scooter Pies onto the stove and knocks off one its dials.
Yeah, they didn't cut and kept that in 😄
Shirley exclaims, “That’s my official Nancy Drew spoon!”
I read that Gilda Radner was considered for the role of Shirley. But she was involved with SNL by then.
RIP Penny Marshall
Rip Cindy Williams
Larry and Balki (Perfect Strangers) are like the male version of Laverne & Shirley.
Or Oscar and Felix of the Odd Couples

Cindy Williams and Michael McKean are pretty much the only two surviving original cast members of L&S
Fear of driving is rather common.
Have the whole L & S DVD Boxset
Hello DV DODDS, Please tell me where you got the Boxset......
So do I
You missed the one from Laverne's grandmothers in New York City.
Cindy Williams is so cute...….John From North Carolina....
"You want be to try and get your L back?"
"Maybe we can send off for another Nancy Drew spoon."
"It was a limited time offer."
That's when they made "The Pact".
"Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye...never, never again." They both said it in unison. Comic gold! Stay safe and healthy.
@@markschroeder2578 Nice to hear from other L&S fans. Growing up, none of my friends were fans of that show. :(
They both were so funny together. I know Cindy mist miss her.
In alot of these episodes, you can hear eddie mekka( Carmine) laughing along with the audience, in the background....
In the "Not Quite South Of The Border" episode during the wind storm scene, there's a distinct laugh from the audience. I wonder if that was Eddie Mekka
@@kiaguy47 i think it is him.lol
I never liked Eddie Mekka. I think Shirley could have done better than that loser.
Brilliant
Youuuu hearrrrrrd meeee
ha, ha, guppie lips
#2 and #1 were my favorite L&S fight scenes
Lucy/Ethel; Laverne/Shirley and now Tina Fey/Amy Phoeler(spelling?)
U misd out the fight in "To tell the truth" :-)
Actually that would've been number 6
lol! Could you possibly mean "you missed out"?
I had a massive crush on Cindy.
I thought it was just me. I was 11. 😂
R.I.P Penny and Eddie
Very good.
Did Laverne say, "Don't yell at me when I'm yellin' at you!"?
Yes.
WOW, I wish I could kiss Cindy like that...!!! She is sweet !!!
Milk and Pepsi? Ewwwww 🤢🤮
For me The Pact was the best.

Hello , Wow Cindy Williams is cute, I know someone that actually made out with her.....
I heard the actor who played Squiggy and her dated for a short time
@@kiaguy47I heard that Ron Howard ( happy days ) had a date with Cindy and actually made out with her
