These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro.
0:05 The technician said the car has been parked at his shop for the past month since this has happened, and they are not sure what the customer is doing with it. But an important reminder to always fix a leak before it's too late. What you see in the video and thumbnail is the drain plug for the rear differential that has a bunch of metal pieces and gunk on it from being ran dry.
0:26 This noise would drive me nuts. Easy find at least!
0:34 The customer didn't know the moon roof was actually open.
0:44 The customer was on a road trip and continued on his road trip even with the front subframe barely held together.
0:59 "C/S. Adaptive Cruise will stop working at random, and display "Cruise Control has stopped working. Please Visit Dealer". No codes, no RoB. Go into VCH (non RoB) and found "Steering Angle Speed Threshold Excessive". Found it directly relates to the torque sensor. Checked torque sensor value with and without Mr Froggie. Mr. Froggie only weighs an ounce or so, but can be detected as LH weight. Removed Mr. Froggie, and the value is normal."
1:08 No extra info.
1:17 The bedazzled push button would keep the start/stop engine button slightly depressed causing it to be "stuck" and the engine shut off at times since the button wouldn't release.
1:28 No extra info.
1:40 No extra info.
1:50 The technician said the car was clean inside so he was surprised to see all of these ants and said he thinks it might have been parked for a while before it was brought in.
1:58 Spray-painted seats and brake pads. I'll never understand some things.
2:09 Might be a window seal rubbing against the window causing the noise as the window had streaks on it. The technician didn't say what caused the noise.
2:16 The axle shaft needs to be replaced as somebody looked to have damaged it when removing a bearing race or the seal.
2:25 The customer bought the truck for $2500 USD.
2:38 This car was traded in like this. The window track assembly was broken.
2:41 Nuts were removed and the speaker was re-installed.
2:50 Now that's custom and works!
3:07 Outro. Thanks for watching! - Auta a dopravnĂ prostĆedky

So long I don't die on the road due to people driving on hopes and dreams!
Much needed weekend!
BUT they all are!đ
I'm the other shop, and I'm getting tired of people always making fun of me on this channel.
đ
They hate you because they don't understand your old school methods
I for one think you do extremely fine work. Your spray foam skills are unparalleled.
Or at least, uneven.
Liar! I am the guy busting his hump doing Brazilian buttlifts, auto repair and crypto investments out of my garage in Hialeah.
Goddamn right!
This video has everything:
Trunk full of nuts.
Subwoofer full of nuts.
Cars full of nuts that decline repairs.
To be honest, I'd decline the repair on some of those cars. Some cars are JUST DESTINED for the junkyard.
And....spray foam
And customers that must be full of nuts for not fixing their cars or even allowing them to get bad enough to be on JRI
DO YOU WANT ANTS? CAUSE THIS IS HOW YOU GET ANTS!
@@shannonharris That is exactly what @The6stringpenguin was saying!
It's amazing how people can't operate buttons, or clean their car, but are 100% accurate on describing sounds their car makes.
Sometimes these are honest mistakes anyone could make. For example, the trucker who didnât realize his display brightness was down.
@@odom2142 Especially as that display brightness has two remember settings, one for running lights on and one for running lights off. Mind you, the first thing I would've tried was adjusting the brightness of the display, but I've paid attention to the fact that many vehicles have those two different remembered settings.
Customer: "It sounds like a Goose returning in the spring to reclaim its pond"
Us: "That's so specific, it can't possibly sound li _hears sound_ ...sonovabish!"
Completely direct competence classes between the two
I'm just waiting for a transmission making Yoshi noises...đ
"Window sounds like Pac-Man" sometimes, customers are extremely accurate.
I would never want that repaired.
Anyone that played the original pac man arcade game will know that sound is spot on.
That's a new "sounds like" winner lol
100% man!
YupâŠwhy would you fix that?? Ah the PAC MAN memories as a kid!!!
"found the subframe to be held up by hopes and dreams"

The products of religious indoctrination, political promises and commercial advertising..
I wonder if it's stronger than spray foam
@@Kalvinjj
Thatâs a very good question
@@Kalvinjj At least it is cheaper.
The answer to the adaptive cruise control problem is, quite obviously, to install a second counterfrog on the opposite side.
That's what the "other shop" would have done.
Careful with frogs and counterfrogs! Might make the car inoperable, and then you will need to be toad...

Also very illegal. Could get your car impounded in a lot of places.
Im goin out here to install my own. Grab the angle grinder, some rtv silicone and some spray foam. Hook it right up!!!
â@@williamballard5520always that one guy. But seriously how could something be "very illegal "? So could something be mirco illegal? It is or it is not.
the bedazzled start button has me thinking of a best of claymores compilation.
there's definitely some good ones I've shown the past 3 years lol
I've never seen any photos of "after" the claymore detonates. Sounds like a good topic for MythBusters if they were still around. Strap two Busters in the front seats and set off the airbags. Obviously with multiple high speed cameras filming.
@@tc6818 I think it was Donut who actually tested that once (not sure, it's been quite a while since I saw the video). Turns out it's not really dangerous, because even if the bedazzlement rips off, it doesn't achieve any significant speeds. You might get a few bruises, but it's not even powerful enough to penetrate skin.
@@MyRegardsToTheDodo Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Donut that did it a couple years ago.
@@MyRegardsToTheDodo biggest possible issue would be the beddazling ripping the airbag on deployment
About the window-opener: that's quite obvious - they installed a door-hinge of a Lamborghini. đ€Ł
lol! I thought the same
Not gonna lie, that custom exhaust valve is pretty awesome!
We did that back in the late 50's. Not that valve.
@2pugman, yup. And some companies (like Whitney/Warshawski (sp?)) even sold them as a kit. 1960's/70's IIRC.
I miss those days.
Usually done these days with a solenoid, but I like the old school method
It was an available factory option on the '69 or '70 GTO.
@@2pugman We used a piece of 2" inch pipe 4" long threaded on both ends. Cut in half and the exhaust pipes opened up and the half pipe welded in. Pipe caps for the threaded ends to become legal. We called'em cut outs. You had to open the pipe caps up every couple of days, the pipe caps became pretty hard to remove if you didn't.
They used to say that stupidity was due to a lack of information, but you now hold almost all of the information of the known universe in the palm of your hand, but people are dumber than ever. We are a doomed species.
it just gives them more ideas and access to supplies đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Holding the information and actually accessing the information are two different things.
The problem with not knowing is you don't don't know enough to know which questions to ask.
Do you honestly believe this: "...you now hold almost all of the information of the known universe in the palm of your hand,..."?
Each new discovery leads to the understanding of how little we, as a species, actually know.
Every answer presents a host of new questions.
That's science for you.
@@1pcfred Someone once said; "Open your mind, but not enough that your brain falls out." but I'm too lazy to look it up.
That last one is actually smart
way cheaper and more reliable than 99.9% of after market options while working perfectly every time.
I thought "oh no! There's LP gas in this car?" But no, thats genius!
Except that type of valve has a nylathane seal around the ball and it won't last long with exhaust heat.
Isn't that technically an "Emissions defeat device". Pretty sure that would fail a UK MOT
The idea dates back to the 1950's.
What a strange coincidence that the customer never remembers the shop that destroyed their car đ€Ł
and they never go back to that shop... lol
The shop of hopes and dreams.
Perhaps hold a mirror up to them.
It's that nationwide chain, "Another Shop Incorporated".
I have a feeling it's usually a "my brother's cousin's boyfriend's dad's golfing buddy's dentist's son said he could fix it cheaper" situation.
2:10 "customer states sounds like" continues to nail it every single time.
I want a comp video of those they are great

That moonroof being open is amazing.
Bet its a woman owner....
Classic example of colossal moron not knowing their vehicle.
Can you not notice it when standing outside? Or hear the wind noise when driving? Or notice rain water damage? Can you at least pull back the shade and look?
@@lo1bo2 Many moon roofs are recessed enough it isn't noticeable that it's open from the outside, especially on taller vehicles like SUVs or even mini-vans.
As for your other points.....you're spot on.
Stupid design. The moonroofs I've had wouldn't let you shut the inside panel if the roof were open.
I wouldn't fix that window out of pure video game nostalgia
It would be even better if the Pac Man theme played when he started the truck.
that rattling in the trunk is just nuts!! *badum tssss *
I'll see myself out...
What type of squirrel collected those nuts I wonder?
Vehicle states that his owner has a few screws loose, is several bricks shy of a load and has bats in his belfry.

Why do they never look around to see if they can find whats causing the noise ??? IDK đ
don't be silly!
Sounds too much like work.
I check whatever I can before bringing it in. Once found gravel behind a hubcap.

I suppose the people spray-painting their interior upholstery are the same ones we see powerwashing it in self-service jetwashes when they get bored of it.

Every time I hear the word bedazzled, I think of Elizabeth Hurley as the devil. Then I need a cigarette.
At the end cut, the bottom right, I think is a '59 Desoto ambulance, anyway, the cat on the hood there. How many of you have seen those little paw-print trails up the windshield and across the roof on those project cars we have sitting?
I have those on my car and I drive it everyday. Of course, it is my own cats as I keep it in the garage.
I see them every now and then, especially the smearings downwards the windscreen. to explain, I live in southern germany, and we get sahara dust distributed by south winds all over europe, and far into the atlantic (all those isnalds would still be barren without it), and it settles as a fine golden dust. or golden smears when raining. and of course, the stray cats around would use the parked cars as outlooks.

Held together with hope and dreams, the story of my life
Seriously. Why do people bring their car if they are not going to get it fixed?
so they can have "another shop" do it? lol
Any one of several reasons:
1. They cant afford the work
2. They think the work is overpriced
3. They know someone else who will do it cheaper
4. They think they can fix it cheaper and just wanted the diagnosis
5. They are idiots and think its not something that needs to be fixed

I would *PAY* for my windows to make the Pac-Man sound
Its scary how accurate that pacman window sound was
1:41 Ya know what's funny? I had a 2021 T680 also cut my instrument panel lights one time. I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery switch to fix it, and yes, I tried the illumination control switch first. If you wait the perfect amount of time between key on and crank, you can do weird things to a T680. Anytime you want to crank your T680, wait a minimum of 5 seconds to avoid weird glitches in the instrument panel. One time I also had all of my gauges read 3 ticks too low. I was idling at 300 rpm and cruising at 900 rpm at 65 mph in 12th one time and my coolant temp maxxed out at about 140 before I shut it off and restarted it.
I had an International once that you could make the gauges go full circle if you started it at the right point when the dash was doing its power on check. Didn't hurt nothing at least. This was also one of those they didn't use enough solder on the dash plug either and would cut out at the right size pot hole before I fixed it.
@@MarylandFarmer. Those old 90's Internationals were poorly built and underpowered. The 7.3L was a good engine, but was only 180-200HP. (for the 4700 444T)
@@charlesball6519 That's exactly what it was 4700 with 444. Decent enough of a truck to start out with and to work on but yeah it was bare bones for comfort and a full load uphill would need a running start to stay over 55. Now my Kenworth has me spoiled and my feet don't freeze in the winter.
