Loving your length and uniformity of your locs! I’m almost 4 months in now so I have a little ways to go 😕. But these are absolutely gorg on you 💕
Thank you so much!!
SOOOOO cute and simple, Kyla! Quick question: Do you sleep with the bantu knots or do you take them down at night? Thanks for this video ❤❤❤
Thanks Lena! I took them out to sleep. Lol.
Love this look on you!
Do you have a video/pictures of how it looked once you eventually took the bantu knots out?
No. lol. I didn't wear them long. I wore them when I went out , twice. I took them out when I went to bed and put them back in the next day. They only managed to get a little wave. I might use water next time to see if I get any curls.
Gorgeous 😍thanks for sharing.. I’m 5 weeks in but I’ll be rocking this style for my next trip to the US 🇬🇧
thank you! & you should try it. It's so quick and easy.
I so wish my edges would look clean and uniformed like yours and others I see! That's my ONLY pet peeve or "hair crush". But they were also unmanageable with my loose natural but I had good edge control to tame it!
I typically let my edges do what they want. I could never really finesse my edges the way I see other women do it. And I never found an edge control that I liked. Which one did you use ?
I have actually parted my sisterlocks (close to 3 yrs in) to do the bantu knots. I love the simplicity of your tutorial even though, I'm calling myself being fancy with my parting. I will definitely try this way next time. My question is: Can you use a rubber band to secure the knot, if you do not want to to remove th3m the same day?
Yes you can. Use small scrunches or hair ties instead if you can though
Pretty . Do you ever regret or get tired of your locs?
No. At least not yet
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
My pleasure 😊
Love it
thank you :)
Soooo...what oil -based gel do you use?
I don’t.
I used some water for this.
On the edges.
But when I do use gel, it’s the smallest amount possible. And it’s the eco styler wit argan oil I believe. Whichever had the red cover and yellowish gel. 🤷🏾♀️
Okay, thanks!
