Two of my ancestors joined the 52nd Illinois in January of 1864 and were in Sherman's Army for the Atlanta campaign.

I love these short videos! Always informative and great when I've got "just enough time" to learn something new...but not enough time to devote to serious contemplation!

Gary always cracks me up with the caffeine jokes lol. You all rock. Love this time of year. When it warms up, we're right around the corner from having awesome videos about the civil war.
Also the fact that you all do this helps people like me who have medical issues now and can't travel super far distances. I do appreciate it.

Hang your heads in shame, folks. McInturffs Ford is at Cedar Creek! I’ve been there many times retracing the steps of my wife’s ancestor, CPL Robert Bradbury, Btry D, 1st PA Light Artillery. The rebels crossed at the ford before dawn and overwhelmed his battery, which was posted overlooking Cedar Creek.
