I'm a retired CP engineer. The mirrors are on the engineer side, and the engineer can look at his mirror and view the step on his side, so he can make sure the guy is safe and see any hand signals he might give. That's why that second mirror is only on the engineer's side.

5:24 : That bracket on the right side of the nose is to hold blue flags from the railroad to indicate that the locomotive is being worked on and means the locomotive is temporarily out of service. It's mostly a safety measure.

I'm doing some custom work on a friend's new Athearn Genesis HO locos. I'm really impressed with the quality and detail of their products. Being an N scaler I only have Kato & Atlas locos, so don't get a lot of time with Athearn power.
That is one extremely stunning unit. Love the new era PTC on top of the cab.

The reason it has the MU Cable stand is because it's a former CP SD9043MAC that was rebuilt at progress rail in 2018-2019 era

You should get the Norfolk Southern Version of the ACU! But there are some NS ACUs still alive, several 7300 series units and others but I’m still getting photos of them

I believe SD70ACUs are rebuilt versions of SD90MACs, which is why they have a lot of similarities. Canadian Pacific is 1 of 2 operators of the SD70ACU, along with Norfolk Southern.
No it's CP's SD9043MAC series that they took out of retirement a cupple years ago and progress rail rebuilt them into sd70acus

I think it’s about time you need more track, the fact you combined all your cars together with such little room left to spare, just shows you need more track!!! But I’d say you need to review a steam engine engine next tho, maybe one of the Union Pacific steam engines

@@terrellfamily1777 You're Welcome, I Initially Wanted CN To Have Gotten KCS, Partially Because CN Used To Called Themselves "North America's Railroad," And They'd Truly Be That With KCS. Then I Kind Of Had Second Thoughts About It And Kind Of Prefer That Neither Had Gotten KCS. First If CN Had Gotten KCS, Every Other Class I (Even BNSF And Union Pacific) Would've Complained, In Fact Even CP As It Is Already Has Some Of Them Scratching Their Heads. If KCS Didn't Run In Mexico This Wouldn't Be So Controversial, Mainly Because Neither CN Nor CP Would've Shown Interest In Merging With Them. Finally, Another Reason I'm Ehh About It Is Because CN Tried To Steal KCS From CP Last Year When CP Made Their Bid For Them.

Suggestion: have the NS and CSX lead a mixed freight the bnsf at the bank, and UP and CP lead a intermodal freight ( with a bigger track layout of course, and more railcars.)
