Neil deGrasse Tyson discusses the development of the atomic bomb and the effect it has on human civilization. What did you find most surprising about this video?
The advancement of human thoughts applied to scientific concepts impresses me the most. I like seeing how people advance on such topics.
When is cosmos season 2 is releasing?
@@10Sparrow it released bruh !! if you dont have tv, torrent it. thats what i did
Publish online plllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaseeeeeee :'(
Ok
2:25 the couple on Neil’s left are like “why this guy talking to himself”
The Pillsbury Jewboy I mentioned that too 😂😂😂
lol
lol hahaha
*right
Ok
Imagine being him in that moment realizing that just by the concept entering his mind by chance he might have completely shifted the course of history
It's so interestingto listen to the stories told by Neil deGrasse Tyson
Neelu Nandu “Dr.”
We're glad you found it interesting. What was your favorite thing you learned from him in this video?
I know...he has a wonderful voice for shows like this. ☺
@@NatGeo , I never thought that the idea of atomic bombs was first sparked in the brain of HG Wells a novelist, instead of some scientist..
Ok
The graphics are helpful for this serious topic. H. G. Welles' ideas were ahead of his time and are still relevant today.
We're glad you enjoyed the graphics. Thanks for watching!
Agreed. Cool graphics. 😎
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
... Albert Einstein.
@Logically Correct , logic takes you from A to B but imagination will take you everywhere...
.... Albert Einstein...
@120 degrees Knowledge and Creativity go hand in hand. You always need both.
@120 degrees Yes
@120 degrees yes I agree
Ohh god, i love how he explained it and also the ilustration, those things make me easily understand
Random fact:
Koala fingerprints are nearly identical to a human’s.
@Anthony Gomes Because hunting Koalas is illegal.
Why wear normal gloves when you can wear koala gloves?
Koala's are humans confirmed
@Anthony Gomes koala are rare species
@Anthony Gomes it may be that this scieFact is not very popular among the criminals yet(if it's true) and even if they do STILL IMAO KOALA IS A RARE SPECIE.
Inventions and discoveries were done for good.
Thank you for sharing.🙏🏽
Cosmos: Possible Worlds was so interesting to see. Definitely love hearing Dr. Tyson’s stories and knowledge on the universe.
2:24 couple on right😂
Normal people: Get out of my personal space before I punch you.
Me, an intellectual: Excuse me, Good Sir/Madame, you're within my Roche limit.
Even though I liked your comment, I'm not going to disintegrate when I come into your area of minuscule gravitational influence.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 He said that you are just a little cute weak comet, slowly disintegrating itself
I love the reference lmao
But sadly, the only one who's going to disintegrate is you.
Fabulous graphically presented science tale.
Thanks Neil for the narration of this clip ...
I waited for 2 years for this and then I missed it when it actually aired. smh
I feel like this right now, I am now mad at myself ...but nonetheless still watching this...
It just aired on the East coast of America maybe if you live west of here you can see it on Fox
The music at the end is so good!
Why does the background track feels like it's from Avengers? (probably infinity war/endgame)
Thought it was like Night at the Museum
Alan Silvestri composed both soundtracks
@@EricAnimation I was gonna to say it

I remember watching this on the tele right after the Curie bit that was after the universe's creation bit. I've been looking for the universe's creation bit ever since... Does anyone know where I could find it?
2:24 that look from the couple walking next to him.
Maybe that wasn't his wife, see how quickly he put on his shades!
@@TNJed01 haha I didn't consider that-- it did look like they were coming out of a hotel.
Where can I watch the entire series?
I thought William Morris invented fantasy genre time machines, in 1880s?
News From Nowhere being an example, first printed in Commonweal.
This super content must be in 4k 60 fps.

2:27 the guy with the bag, that's me... I want my money!
It proves again that literature has a great role to play in science too. Ideas are the gateway 😌
I like Neil too!!! That was cool*---*
Awesome. ☢smart people make the world a more interesting place. Thank God for scientists. ☺
2:24 guy and his wife to the right were low key jump scared.
Can you retelecast Genius on Nat geo
😍wow gteat ❤❤❤❤
What if H. G. Wells nightmare wasn't seeing the atomic bomb, but the quantum weapon depicted in 'Mortal Engines' ?
If only people would’ve watched the respective Cosmos series’ from Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson before going to the theatres for Oppenheimer, it could’ve been so much better for them.
Plant more greens and protect all the greens
Are these trailers of actual 1 hour long episodes ? Or are these just Short videos ?
🤩
people lookin at him like "boi the heck you got scizo"
Im here
Is this cosmos what season?
Hello sir! 😆👋🧐
Is this episode 14 or I missed a previous one?
Halfway through the season.

Genius could be dangerous without morality
Can you imagine If nukes were dropped in Europe during the war. Paris, London, Berlin
What's the book name?
Video is great , but why do the background music sound like Avengers infinity war 😅
The Butterfly Effect
Thanos had the right idea ... sort of. We live on a crowded plant, that we need to sustain our ever-new new technologies. Warp drive is not possible with the current human population level, but will we survive as a species long enough to reach the stars?
Sup cuhs
I didn't quite follow the link between the atomic bomb and our ancestors farming for food.
How can I watch this show for free
02:24 huh!?
Guy must have thought he was one of those annoying CZcamsrs.
02:27 😎🤏🏻
Can we watch cosmos : possible worlds in hindi language?
Can anybody relate this to DARK's H. G. Tannhaus.
I don't MIND the animation, but I much preferred Carl Sagan's original style of using real-life people who don't even gesture spoken words, as Sagan would narrate their presumed spoken words. Don't know why, I just thought it was a better way of delivering the story.
hi
Hello
Once I almost died trying to find out his name XD
But did you find?
Whats his name?
Neil de grass tyson,
That was longggggggggggg ago
I have found it now XD
Why don't you ask Mr. Degrassi Tyson how planets appear to be moving in the wrong direction not from East to west but from Southwest spread out northward right over top of us..And yes it's very true and very possible..
Rest in peace Rishi Kapoor 😢😢
how do I get Cosmos, I have Disney + which include National Geographic. There is no Cosmos how do I get it?
that atomic bomb was cool
You tell us our ancestry running with bowls, what is Bull shed !
Our ancestry being more advanced like we are now!
PSA: Neil deGrasse Tyson continues to harbor the worlds most soothing vocal chords
Random fact :National geographic isn't available in our region
YOUR REGION IS.....
Actually I didn't see the video... Just randomly came into the comment section
Why did CZcams change the comment section? I now have to tap to expand the comments. Annoying.
💩 update sadly
It's already on ios since last year

Aaaaand we can't get into natgeo video site too....

There needs to be a little scaffolding here-- he lost me with his master plan of 2 neutrons from 1. 1:39
The atoms are splitting, not multiplying. When one neutron splits one atom, the split atom releases two netrons. The 2 new neutrons go on to spilt 2 more atoms.
L ove~" GALA#
Ain't that something... 2 Adam's! Oh, you said Atom's my mistake? Science and Religion such a topic I'll tell ya!
