Bro i did same comparison i have both Jio 4G & BSNL 3G sims same like you but BSNL is 1.74 Mbps & Jio is 9.62 Mbps
(Already having BSNL for more than 8 years even before Jio 4G introduced, i have same 4G mobile which is bought in late 2019 so almost 5 years old)

No need just go to nearest simseller of any retail shop they should sell BSNL if you go and give your number they will activate and give you new sim you can use the SIM after the old SIM is deactivated then you can have 4G SIM on your mobile no need of any documents I think you are fingerprint or other maybe needed so no worries
