Join me onboard for this indoor training at Fastlane Karting in Bilzen. This was my first time driving indoor since January so I had to adapt to the different driving technique again. I also hadn't been to Fastlane in almost 1,5 years so the layout was also completely new to me.
I liked the layout quite a bit but I did struggle a lot with bouncing on 70kg, this is especially clear in the outside section.
This section was however quite fun with a full throttle sweeper and after going into a very tricky hairpin. There isn't a lot of rubber yet outside so the grip here was quite low making the braking and turn-in tricky. Going from inside to outside and vice versa did however provide quite a challenge being temporarily blinded by the low standing very bright sun.
It was however a shame that the track is a bit too tight to provide real overtaking as well as there being 0 grip outside of the normal racing line.
