    0:33 - The filter should be cleaned a lot more often than once per year. Most window units have a filter reminder that will light when the unit has ran long enough that the filter should be cleaned.

      That is probably true. I feel like ignoring that light is a way of life though, haha.
      I will say, my AC unit has been in since June, and the change filter light hasn't come on yet, and I'll be taking it out in a month or so. So for my relatively short AC season, once a year seems about right.
