Kerala was one of the 7 janapadas (kingdoms) of Bharata (i.e Indian subcontinent) along with Tulanga (tulu region), Konkana (konkan region) etc that were collectively known as the 'Parashurama Kshetra' (i.e creation of parashurama) and Kerala was one of the 3 janapadas (kingdoms) of Dravidadesha (dravida region) meaning the southernmost region of Bharata (Indian subcontinent) along with Pandya Kingdom and Chola Kingdom as according to the Sanskrit scripture's (i.e Puranas) since known history.
    :
The earliest ruling dynasty of Kerala was titled as 'Keralaputhra/Keralamputhra' since the 3rd century B.C in the historical accounts and the city of 'Mahodayapuram' (i.e thiruvanchikulam) in Thrissur district of Kerala was the capital of the Kerala king. The Martial Race of Kerala titled as 'Nayar' and the Kerala king titled as 'Varmar' in Old Malayalam were the Malayala Kshatriyas and Warriors of the Kerala kingdom (i.e Keralaputhra), that is the 'Malayalam Country' (i.e malabar) in all of known History and the 'Namboothiri Brahmanas' were our Royal Priests.
    :
"Kerala is not only the country, but also the Kshathriya-Jaathi inhabiting the country" - Vaarthika of Kaathyayana pre-3rd Century B.C
    :
The kings of Mahodayapuram are referred to as belonging to the Keralakula (i.e Kerala-Dynasty) in the Oldest Sanskrit works of Kerala and similarly, Yakshan Keralan, Godha Keralan, Kerala Narayanan, Keralan Srikumaran etc are the various other personal names of Keralites as present in the Oldest Inscriptions of Kerala in Old Malayalam since the 9th century C.E as the Kerala-Country and its capital was under the dominion of the Naaduvaazhikal (i.e vallabhapattanam king, mahodhayapattanam king, kolambhapattanam king etc) as attested by native records and foreign travelers including Al-Biruni since the 11th century C.E
    :
    For Example:
"Naaduvaazhunna naayarum munnoottuvarum paniyudayavakalum ullirunnee kacham ezhuthichithu" - Old Malayalam - Thrikkodithanam Inscription - 11th century C.E - Meaning - "This agreement is here by written in the presence of the Nayar landlord, the organisation of the three hundred along with the labourers."
    :
"The Nayars rank with the Kings" - Ma Huan 1403 C.E
    :
The first class of Pagans (hindus) in Malabar (kerala) are called Brahmins. The second are Nayars, who are the same as the gentlefolks amongst us." - Ludovico di Varthema 1510 C.E
    :
"The men of war which the kings of Malabar (kerala) have are Nayars, which be all gentlemen." - Hernan Lopes de Castaneda 1582 C.E
    :
"From the earliest times down to the end of the 18th century, the Nayar organisation kept the country from oppression and tyranny on the part of the rulers, and it is to this fact, more than to any other is due, the comparative prosperity which the Malayali country so long enjoyed" - William Logan

💕 It is said by Robert Orme in the 18th Century that "The people of this denomination known as Nairs are by birth the militia and assert in their own country even prouder preeminence than the Rajputs, who in other parts of India are likewise born with the same distinction".

Kerala is our homeland brother. The people of the denomination referred to as 'Nayaka' in Sanskrit and as 'Nayar' or the plural 'Nayanmar' in Malayalam meaning 'Leader' in Kerala (Malabar) history is falsely claimed to be the corruption of the Sanskrit word 'Naga or Nagavamsha' by the pseudo-historians. It is attested by the scholars that Naga (snake) worship is found mentioned in the Vedas, Puranas etc and was widely established with a broad variety of rituals and customs all throughout India at one time as well as the existence of various dynasties claiming descent from 'Nagavamsha' in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha etc in Indian history unlike the kings of Mahodayapuram or Thiruvanchikulam (Kerala) referred to as the descendant of 'Suryavamsha' in our Kerala (Malabar) history and similarly, it is attested by the foreign travelers themselves of the existence of 'Sarpakaavu' or sacred groves dedicated to snake worship between Gokarnam and Kanyakumari (Malabar) by the 'Brahmanas, Nairs etc' as it is our traditional history that it was Lord Vasuki, the king of Snakes, coiling around the neck of Lord Shiva who made the land between Gokarnam and Kanyakumari (i.e Bhargavakshethra) habitable for civilisation at the penance of Lord Parashurama in our Kerala (Malabar) tradition.

@@Nithin90 okay but my malyali nair friend vin ahmedabad told me this
And bro at once upon a time people have migrated to certain places thousands of years ago and of course when u live for thousands of years at same place u become native to them 😂
For example I am a Gujarati suryavanshi rajput and our ancestors were from luvpur(lahore) at 2500 BCE and we migrated to Gujarat around 2500 BCE at the end of industry valley civilization
That doesn't mean we aren't native to Gujarat 😂
