Came for the bodywork, stayed for the great life advice
Life advice like abort your kids before they grow up like this clown?
Your videos are MUCH better than any of the car shows on TV. Thanks for what you do
I recommend checking Fluid Film for coating inside of the frame. It replaces moisture and it coats very well. It also never dries so if you hit anything and the frame bends it doesn't crack or chip.
I second this. My Volvo 940 has seen Norwegian salt roads every year since 1995. And the only spots that have been Rusty is the spots where the fluid film didnt reach or wasnt applied.
It has rolled 450000km. And im certain it would not be around today without fluid film.
Great tip! I gotta check it out!
@@PrizzaMikeFluid Film is great, but B'Laster has their own version called Surface Shield that's even better in every way - easier to apply, more flexible and durable with comparable protection. Repair Geek did a thorough comparison on his channel a couple of years ago
My Miata has a hole in the rocker and I use fluid film to prevent it from getting worse before I can weld in new ones. Love fluid film my step dad turned me onto it last year.
@@Fubbziesounds like a cool step dad!! Rare lol
Watching you working on your projects always encourages me to work on my project cars. Your videos always gives me an energy boost and confidence that I need.
hell yeah, definitely motivates me too
Bro so real, he's my inspiration of wanting to revive my crusty project car lol
I always run a painters tape border line on both sides of the seam seal especially where it is most visible then apply the sealer ,once brushed smooth remove the tape and it leaves a nice crisp straight reveal line . Just a tip maybe you can try you might like . As usual great work and video . Happy new year bud . 👍
Another prizza Mike classic. You’ve improved so much in the last year with your skills and attention to detail to cars. You inspire all of us to finish our projects!
Man I can't belive Nissan Gloria is getting closer to being fixed keep up great work Mike
Absolutely fantastic job. I’m so impressed with the level of detail you have taken the repair to.
damn the new mic quality is super obvious inside of closed spaces. great stuff mr mike 🫡
Hey i feel the same way building a car from the inside out is so much better and you gain alot of knowledge and experience from it too
Always a good day when Prizza uploads, great work on the car man! Motivates me to get out there and work on my speed3 :D
Love the progress on the Gloria! Miss seeing Franzy and you working on the cars together, we gonna see yall working on a car again soon? Any new updates on her 240sx?
crazy how much knowledge you spread with these videos!
Got your never stop progressing hoodie for Christmas. Amazing, love it a bunch! And I’m glad to see that the Gloria is pretty much finished
Here’s to another year of great content, thanks Mike
I'm glad more people are finding this channel it's underrated
the cinematics and the short talking REALLY adds life to the vids! keep doing what you do best Mike!
Loving the crisp audio makes the video so much more satisfying
Hey my name is Jordan Kazar and I just want to thank you because I have a Honda civic ex 1995 in my garage that has been sitting for years and because of your videos I’m going to start my very first project car
Hey Prizza i always love seeing one of your videos, i'm starting my first big project of LS1 swapping my 2010 Genesis Coupe. You've really been a huge source of information on what actually functions and what all i've learned from you has helped such as how to do brakes. Hope you have a happy new year and a great 2024!
51 machines is a Japanese You Tube channel I would highly recommend to you. They do amazing oem restoration work, and are currently doing an R chassis that looked like it was pulled from the bottom of the ocean. The quality of their work is top notch. Fab work, welding, seam sealing, and painting, are their specialties. Ive learned so much from them.
Keep up the good work! Love the channel.
Dude she looks amazing already. Your so close to being drivable, sick bro
13:40 - 14:19 -> nice bit of wisdom. Thanks Mike!
you did a great job coating and protecting the new quarter. you've come a long way since i've first watched!
When you were seam sealing it I would have put masking tape on both sides of the seam sealer so when you use that brush you can pull off the masking tape after making it clean and crisp!😎
Mike is a genuine nice guy....
He has zero arrogance....
Mike is a teacher
Hello from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. Love your videos. But may I just say one thing I would love to see a full set of matching wheels as it just looks so wrong you put loads of effort in to building your cars I just would love to see you put a full set of matching wheels 🛞. Keep up the good work and all the best for 2024 unfortunately for me I have nothing to celebrate as my beautiful amazing 28 year old son died a few weeks ago of a heart attack he had never taken drugs . So watching your videos has helped me to deal with the loss of my son as they are very entertaining and you should be very proud of yourself for what you do.
Take care Rich.
wake up for the weekend and watch progress on the gloria? yes please!
the new mic is an amazing upgrade, cherry on top feeling
Great vid, and excellent fitment on the Gloria! So satisfying watching all of the pieces coming together! Cant wait to see what those wheels end up looking like!🤘
You're gonna be an amazing dad with all your life advices, your dedication and your vibe brother
I was so looking forward to the video, great job as usual. Happy new year to you!
Thanks for everything Mike. You are amazing. Happy new year !
awesome video and the positive vibes you spread
Mike I love your channel and content. Its nice to see what the "average joe" can do in their garage vs some of these channels that dont even really work on their own cars. Keep it up man
Happy new year Mike! The Gloria is looking on point bro.
Fixing the rust on my eclipse before it become something I don’t wanna mess with
Happy New Year Mike!
I love your channel. Good job bringing back the Gloria.
We thank you Mike, for not giving up in every single situation you've found yourself in where giving up became an option. We're grateful for you
Came here to watch you rebuild a beautiful car and got good life advice
Heck yeah !! AWESOME Progress on the Gloria 🔥👌
Ah, seeing the gloria come together is so satisfying. That seam sealer really makes me want to redo the external panel seals on our old VW van! Thnx for a great year full of good vibes Mike!
Couple tips:
- Buy a tin of wax and grease remover - this cleans panels and will not affect paint / primer... you will be using this stuff all the time, the only way to guarantee you are removing contaminants.
- Smoothing out seam sealer - use your finger (in a disposable nitrile glove). Excess can also be cleaned off with wax and grease remover.
- sanding epoxy primer prior to seam sealer... buy a couple maroon scotchbrite pads, this will scuff the areas with far less chance of sanding thru edges / corners.
Great tips! Thank you sir
Hey Mike! Thank you for your inspiring thoughts about life, I really enjoyed them!
Thanks for everything this year mike, hope you, fran and family have a great New Years ❤️
Amazing progress man! I'm finally caught up on the playlist
I will give you a tip... be careful where you drill and add unintended spot welds that were not origonal to the manufacturers intended dezine. Many point on a cars chassis are meant to flex under load, infact I also agree that its great to give your shell more rigidity! But... adding connections (welds) in spots that are meant to flex may cause problems for the chassis future from strain when it flexes causing more stress in other places rather than it being equally dristibuted!
Love how relaxed these videos are
Great video! My parents got me one of your sweatshirts for Christmas and I love it!
Dude I respect your grind so much.
Happy New Year to you and your family safe travels
Your videos always inspire me to work on my car, and they are always so positive and make my day better!

My resolution is to worry less, watch more Mike, and learn even more about cars. Here's to a happy 2024, Mr. Prizza sir! So glad I found this channel, and may all your hopes and dreams come true in the new year!
Dude that little heater brought me so much nostalgia, I had the same exact one when I was younger
14:00 Mike really out here inspiring me, thanks man
Dude the new mic is awesome such a good upgrade for the channel

Dude!!!! That Gloria is sooooo sick!!!! I look forward every time you put out a vid to see where it's at.
@12:55, same hommie. 2 projects cars and no time. gotta get done this year!!
I didn’t expect to be getting a free therapy session during this video, but it’s very much so appreciated. I’ve been wanting to go drifting since I was 13-14, I’m now 24 and I’m slowly getting to the point of being able to go to an drift event with my own car and video and share with the internet. Thanks for inspiration to continue working towards that and
OMG those wheels for the gloria are just sooooo perfect ! I loved the ones wich cames with the car but you are right : there is much better to do ! Can't wait to see on it 👌
Your videos inspired me to do some minor rust repair and body work over Christmas on my truck. Something I never thought I would have the skills to do. But seeing how you just learn by doing gave me the push to just do it. It didn't turn iut perfectly but it's way better than before and I learned a new skill and how to do it better next time. Much love, your videos are awesome 👌
The front rims are prefect, also im in love with the gray color
Dude you're such a motivator to so many, including myself. Doesn't matter the time of year or weather, you get in there and make shit happen regardless of the conditions. Your work ethic and views about people and the world are something that a lot of younger guys need to hear more of.
"Thats what lifes about. Gathering experiences and sharing it with other's" PrizzaMike
Happy new year brother! Hope to see you trackside this year🖤⚡️🖤
Try to put painters tape on each side of the seem that way after your done spreading it you can peel the tape and it leaves a nice seem of seal.
It’s always gets me excited when I get that notification prizzamike uploaded
I last comment when you were on 20k subs, still watching the videos thought. Im happy for your growth man , congrats. Btw happy new year! 🎉
niceee!! progress!!
this week, i had a week off, and put it to good use, finished up doing the welding on my project car, shell is now ready for primer and seam sealer
Hey Mike. I've found your channel in January and I gotta say your videos influenced my life a lot. In February I've got my first car, and your videos teached me how to approach certain things like modifying and maintaining it. It's been amazing to have you explain things in your videos, and It was amazing following along your progress on your projects, and it greatly motivated me to wrench on my nugget as well. Your style of content shows a realistic approach into how to work on your own car, where it's not just like "oh I got this $5000 turbo" and "I just spent $10000 on parts for my 800Hp whatever", but showing how you can slowly and patiently piece together a car you want in a very passionate manner. It definitely motivated to dare to go out my way to push my abilities on working on my car and it's really the best feel ever. Thank you for everything you taught me this year, and I wish you have a happy new year. Greetings from Hungary!
cant wait to see this car finished and ready to drive
Sweet action, brother. I've waited all week long just for today. I always look forward to watching your CZcams videos every single Saturday morning
you have done a really good job on that. most people would just strip it for parts and scrap it just think of all the cars that have been crushed because someone can’t see the potential. happy new year and good luck with you’re future builds
Mike really got bob ross like towards the middle, love it, even the philosophical part ;D
using your advice funnily enough to take notes because my wagon was rearended and on inspection it busted a seam on the frame, its still fixable, but just need to re-seal the seam, and thankfully you explain the process in *great* detail lol
ive been reflecting, and as always improving my life one year at a time
Been watching ever since you was at the track not knowing what’s about to happen,I waited patiently every week for you to post and after a long wait you finally got it finished and I’ve been waiting patiently for months and months now just for you to stick abit of colour on it,please for me and plenty others put some colour on it and id be happy lol
I'm not a professional either, but I usually just glove up, and use a finger to smooth out the seam sealer -- seems to work decently. If It's a really visible spot, I'll throw down some tape on either side of the seam so I can smooth it out well, and then just pull the tape for really clean lines. It's my understanding that you can apply nearly all seam sealers over primer (scuffing may be required), but not all seam sealers can be applied to bare metal.
this next year I hope to be able to finish my Subaru, Thank you for making content that makes me want to work on my car more and I always learn something watching your videos
Nice content as always 💯 cheers to more builds in 2024 🔥👌
Love when mike uploads! Always helped me get threw tough times watching him! Keep it up mike look forward to seeing her finished and the 240zx finished too bin following since day one n i wanna meet you someday would be a dream come true!
Good stuff man keep it up!
Car is coming along beautifully bro I’m working on finding a new motor for my current project so I can flip it to move to the project. I actually want. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Keep up the good work.
We use tape help with lines with fine paint brush it makes it look smooth and peel tape off of both sides of the seam seal.
22:25 I like to build up the car's weaknesses first, the suspension on my Mustang was shot when I got it and they don't handle the best out of the box anyway, the stock suspension has been swapped out for quality aftermarket parts and it's honestly made the stock 300HP really fun on the 235s that are on it, grips up when you want it to but also slides when you want it to, very predictable in either situation, plus the motor being stock aside from an intake keeps it reliable as its my daily
Love the vids mike, thanks for being such a great person! I've learned a bunch from you and I'm currently in the process of restoring my Z32. Thanks again and happy new year :D
