The talk was so interesting. The interviewer and interviewee were both to the point. Listening to Manu is always a pleasure. He speaks as if he is telling a story. You do not need a dictionary to understand what he is trying to convey!

As long as these sources (any leftover things ) are correctly kept since the historic time, that may give more truth full Informations than the written texts , the vice versa happens only if historians are truthfull through out the chain of the knowledge transfer.
And his concept of reaching to audians by stories will be effective than written history books.
Base of nationalism should be the nature of the nation, in India it (National identity ) has to be "unity in diversity".
Someone please tell him to make audiobook versions of his work. Started on audiobooks recently and can never go back.

Yesterday, I was wondering how come yester year dalits grown exponentially over the generations in terms of various statuses in the society when compared to the upper classes. I got the answer from the Part 1 of the interview. Colonization in a way changed the trajectory of growth of all the classes.
