Dina deserves way more popularity and recognition than she's getting.

Same, i started doing some creature designs because of her but they're not nearly as good as hers
Keep practicing! And study the animals behaviour and anatomy. Do many studies.
I was in class and we had to do a paper on artists that inspire us. I chose you, i hope you don't mind, but at least I got a good grade
I did the same project, one of mine were squidward.... I got c for some inaccuracy
I absolutely love the design of the snail-like spiral shell on the left at 10:55 it's such a cool fin/tail alternative to explore when working on mermaids and sea theme creatures :D

Dina don't forget to date the latest pages for later !! Obviously remembering what exact day it was drawn would be difficult but you can write the month and year, I know I regret not dating my older drawing...
I love seeing other artist's sketchbook tours. Up until recently, I would have a form of stage fright when I began a new page in my sketchbook. I couldn't get over my fear of wasting a page until I realized that my favorite pages in my sketchbook are the ones where I have a ton of different sketches going on. I think my favorite sketch in your sketchbook is the one at 22:49. There's just something about the line work and the splashes of color that is just so inspiring. Awesome video!

I love sketchbook tours like this because I get to see all the loose sketchy bits, sometimes I forget a sketch doesn’t need to be pristine and seeing stuff like this is refreshing for my perfectionist mind

I love your art so much! theres something so whimsical and dynamic about the way you draw your creatures and characters, I always love looking at them and always want to know more about them! I used to just do one thing on each page of a sketchbook unless I was really bored and ever since I started filling the pages completely and doing both sides I looooove my sketchbooks so much more. Looking through full sketchbooks like yours is so fun and I loved seeing all these again! I gotta get my butt on my creature design so it's ready in time! Loved seeing that blob challenge page, that's my favorite "I don't know what to draw but I wanna draw" thing to do! 💜💜💜

Hey @Dina Norlund Thanks for sharing your work very amazing!! Even the things sometimes we think look a lil bad are amaizing. Im also an artist! Awesome work inspires to create!!
I wish i never listen to my parents about choosing a collage degree... When i was still in high school i wanted to be a fine arts student, but my parents discouraged me and told me to pursue business course... So i comply with the thinking of "if i'm the boss, i have the time for my self" and as time passes by i realize i don't have the ability to do business, im socially awkward, a loner, and have no self confidence until i fell into depression. I haven't finished my studies because of depression, my parents doesn't believe depression and instead scold me for being sorry for my self that i should be greatfull... But over time i overcome my depression on my own, and studying art on my own by drawing whenever i had time. But because i have back problems, i cannot sit for too long, (that sucks) but i can't help it... I lift a heavy object in the wrong way and had an operation for it.
