I like the summer videos. I like the frogs.
Atleast you like em lol, that makes 1
The frogs lol!
I’ve been using these for assorted older builds since they’re some of the last forks you can even find new in 26” QR with a straight steerer tube. They’re pretty decent overall, I haven’t had any problems with them yet and they have not been treated gentle.
I own this fork in 27.5 and a older style bolany fork in 29 and I'm very happy with my purchase
I paid $80 for the 27.5 and $100 for the 29
honestly, I wish these Chinese budget fork companies would make a legitimate competitor to more expensive Rockshox and Fox forks. I know there are other air fork brands but it really seems like all decent air forks are pretty expensive. These Chinese fork brands need to do what LTWOO is doing. They started out as kind of a crappy alternative but they are really becoming a legitimate alternative to Shimano and SRAM for groupsets. I think it all has to do with the internals of the air forks. If some of these companies could actually put in some effort and do a real air shock and damper system instead of using the same cartridge style system that's been used on all cheap Chinese forks for years I think they would actually be able to compete.
Since when did we Aussies use ounces 🤔
Great timing with this review, was thinking of taking off my 3kg suntour forks off my commuter bike and replace it with this Bolany fork lol
A Epixon against a Bolany. 😆.
Send it! 🎉
I see one problem. I'm 235lbs! So who is this new fork for??
This fork should easily work for you, divide your weight in half then add 10 lbs, that should be about the right amount of air in any air fork
Very good, gentlemen! Time for the real test.....the RTR! Seems like a decent fork for the price. Much like the Bucklos, etc. Great option for most casual riders!
That rebound looks decent. Way better than my stock motobecane. Looking forward to the trail test.
I can pretend to be Matt, I like the weirdness lol it’s part of what keeps me tuning in
To be 100 % honest all the cheap Amazon Air forks are literally the same with different colors and stickers, they seem to all have the same rebound knob, lock out knob and air cap, literally all the same with different branding
Gonna have another frame for ya'll soon! i was waiting on a shock.
You got a 27.5 XD rear wheel for me to buy?
@@TheCaptainsCog Just the spank one
I can’t wait to see the real time review ❤
I'm not Matt but the weirdness is great. I would appreciate it if you didn't tape a frog to the microphone before filming though. 🐸 Merch idea btw.
I’m not Matt Ward but I like the weirdness 👍
i do too!
The intros are always great lol.
My Bolany oil slick fork is 4 years old now and it still works perfectly. I had it on my 1st xc trail bike never had any problem with it like zero issues. I just clean and lube the stancheons and lockout knob every 2 months but that was it. The air hasn’t leaked infact I had to release some because now my kid is using my bike and he totally loves it. Smooth even after all these years. I’m using an Epixon on my Giant hardtail now but I wish Bolany transitions to making high end forks and I know they can do it.
I'll try and guess this real time review score now, 28. Lil Squatch still likes to watch these lol. He doesn't get to watch Patreon yet, especially after that last mailtime. 🤣
Digging the look of the Bolany except for the glossy sticker. Thankfully you didn't combine sloth cam with Wolfman dyno, now that would be some weirdness only Matt Ward would enjoy.
Y'all all forked up !!! 😜👍👍
What's up wolfTick and Wolfman❤
Damn those tree frogs lol.
Can you test suspension forks from Temu
Same forks, rebranded
Is that even safe?😮
off topic, but my walmart has ebikes...
When letting the air out of the suspension your o ring was not against the seal but was way up high it never touched during compression
Would the fat tire version be the same performance wise? Have a guide on there now want an air fork with rebound. It is on an ebike
I’m weird, but then normal is boring!
I’m going to say this will rate at about 25.5ish. I think the funny feeling you’re getting of that lower in the dyno will develop into a lack of suppleness with use.
The frogs are loud. They sound like that time I bought a house that had an unmaintained pool that had become a frog habitat.
I like to weirdness love it keep it weird
🙏🙏🙏🙏😊
we all like the weirdness lol
I've ridden many many forks since 1985. I've never had one that made loud suction noise, or really any sort of noise whatsoever.
Anybody know what would cause that?
The suction sound is the oil circulating the damper, the slower you have your rebound the louder it is, just technically more noticeable because it’s more restricted an slower. All suspension with a damper will have this noise, some louder tho.
Oil circulation. My Recon does that too, it is a froggy fork
Definitely don't agree with yall. Sag is a very important part of suspension, so if you don't consider sag, then you are not so scientific as you claim.
Wolftick nation is not at all concerned with sag. Nor should we be.
