If you're still on the fence, it looks like your crit build does more damage. In my own opinion even though EM is great for people like Venti and Sucrose, crits help produce some more damage.
Crit build is better for personal damage and requires high investment and good artifact rolls, whereas em build is better for team support and requires lower investment
i think crit might still be better because of elemental shields. anemo works against all elemental types. also getting the correct elemental infusion in the venti ult is inconsistent
You can't compare crit vs em while the crit build still having like 240 em, it's not much but it's quite high for crit build. I think you should change to the rust or other bow for crit build

I've had kazuha since his release and it took me until last month to complete his full EM build (926). Since I care about my sanity I'm just gonna slap an atk/crit build on venti when I get him 😷
I farmed so much for kazuha, that when Xiao came home I already had the artifacts for him. Funny how now, he is my most well build characters and I wasn't even trying to XDD
I don’t think it’s very good to infuse pyro during the test since the fatui agent has a very high pyro resistance, and the swirls end up being not as effective as if you swirled something like cryo or hydro
4 piece viridescent decreased the agent's pyro resistance all the way down to 10%, so it was not that bad. But still swirling another element would've been better yes because he would then have 0% resistance to that element
Both are actually good, it depends in how you wanna use him. If u wanna use him as a Dps then he needs more crit. But If u wanna use him as a support then use EM

If u are confused between EM and DPS build here is what u need to know EM:- it will do more damage in burst if you swirl a element DPS:- it will do more damage in elemental skill probably like 30k
pulled c1 venti yesterday and my artifacts sub-stats are fairly divided (59% crit rate, 98% crit dmg and 366 em) without em goblet, i guess i fall into the crit venti build but he's been excellent so far!!
I use sucrose a lot and she's full EM build with sacrificial fragments as weapon... She has 904 EM to me... The swirls are crazy, you did not full EM that is why you deal low Damage on EM build of venti.
Yep that will be super hard prob take 20k resin to accomplish lol i have yet to get literally 1 semi decent piece of viridescent gear 3000+ resin in. Havent gotten much of what i was looking for and when i do its so horrible
i follow the 40/80 rule for crit rate / crit damage, and is doing some fine damage, actually i managed to get like 60 crit rate to 140 crit damage so is helping me a lot :). Part of it is using a crit rate bow like the new one when tartaglia was out: the north star or something like that, but i would personally recommend the season pass bow because it has crit rate as a sub stat and also a really fun skill, it actually drags enemies to one spot when you hit with the bow, a mini ult.

ive got a split build ready. its an all em (except circlet) but i still have a 60% crit rate and 112% crit damage. hopefully they both work together and make him do so nice damage.
Honeslt I have a weird ass team. I don’t follow these set teams that people say helps with damage, I put husbandos and switch them out if I feel like I’m neglecting someone. Anyways so my team is xiao, venti, zhongli and xingqui(he’s getting swapped with ayato soon) (venti sometimes gets swapped by diluc/kaeya/razor if I need those elements) Anyways my point is I have a nonsensical team and my venti is built as EM I think that’s the best for venti especially if u have really nice EM artifacts and this is surprising cause all my artifacts are crit based cause I don’t build supports, even if I did the only one is xingqui with maidens beloved but even then he’s got a crit build. I guess what I’m saying is if u don’t have EM artifacts like I didn’t at first then use crit build but if u have EM then I recommend that for venti anyway idk about anyone else. Also mixing crit and EM is also pog, people really wanna judge others for their team or artifact choices but at the end of the day if ur having fun, what’s it got to do with them.

neither, the higher you get in a stat the less effective it gets (unless its crit), a bit of EM, a good amount of crit and your venti will be way better than focusing of one of those 2
That concept is about balancing damage stats that all contribute to one damage source. Atk doesn't affect swirl, and EM doesn't affect anemo. You're better off going full atk or full em over hybrid.

However, vv is a bitch of a domain, and you're sometimes forced to run mismatched mainstats for hybrid.
It doesn't matter which character you use. It's all random, I use Venti every time in a matched team with everyone else doing different characters each time I do the vv domain, yet I still got an em sands, goblet, and circlet

With 806 em and zhong shield he can hit for 6800 per tick...think u underestimate em...crit build is too hard to achieve...building em is way easier and testing shows that em does slightly more damage...the only way crit does more damage is if you build to maximum potential which can take months of strenuous grinding..it's not worth all that
U dont need em build for a vape team. For EM, dont look at the anemo damage, but the reaction and swirl damage. Dont use anemo goblet as well, go full em.
Why do you use anemo goblet for em build? The anemo stat doesnt make swift damage increase, anemo stat is totally useless. This comparation is going wrong
Just fyi.. At lvl 90 venti can hit way higher with Swirls, the difference is pretty big, specially against 2 or more enemies (*just try not to imbue Venti's Burst with Hydro*) But... As a example, my Venti lvl 90 with 879 em can hit 7k per swirl, thanks to 4VV + Zhong li shield, try it out if you want. But yeah.. Swirl doesnt really shine if character is not lvl 90+wearing 4VV. (I would hit like 5.300 per swirl if my venti would be lvl 80)
@@KazeJay777 Cause you can not swirl 2 hydro hits at the same time, even if you swirl hydro against 4 wet enemies. Hydro swirl dmg is capped at 1, and you can not even swirl Hydro DAMAGE to nearby enemies who do, or do not have hydro aura, you just apply Hydro aura on them instead. However, all the other swirls are capped at 2, for example if you swirl pyro on 4 burning enemies, you will swirl 2 pyro hits (against each enemy), thats the max. The only exception is electrocharged. If an enemy is electrocharged, electro and hydro are applied on the enemy. So for example, if you swirl 2 electrocharged enemies at the same time, you are doing 2 electro swirls and 1 hydro swirl. Interesting mechanic ikr. All this is way easier to test with single hit anemo skills, like venti E, kazuha E, sucrose E...

@@kyxer9105 fun fact is: swirl dmg has nothing to work with ATK. You can have like.. 6000 Total Attack and 300 cd but if you have like.. 100 EM, your swirl dmg will be pretty poor. This said. EM build is very friendly and easy to build cause you just want to stack EM and probably ER% and ATK%. For example, against 2 enemies, full EM build is just so easy to build and deals so good dmg. If you are using Crit, you need pretty nice Cr and Cd ratio to deal the same damage. However, for example, if you are using bennet, It will be just easier to deal that much damage with a worse crit build, and.. As I mentioned, Total Attack does not improve swirl dmg at all. (And literally any transformative reaction, which are all reactions in the game except melt or vaporize)
ur doing it completely wrong.... ur supposed to use benny burst then venti on it cuz it snapshots. If u use it after u don't get the atk buff at all! all ur doing then is just infusing it with pyro

Why do you use anemo goblet for em build? The anemo stat doesnt make swift damage increase, anemo stat is totally useless. This comparation is going wrong
the crit one did around 2000k swirl and the em did around 4000k (actually 1900 and 3000k smt)

having 1800 atk 200 ER 200 EM and 50/100 Crit ratio seems to be the sweet spot, make the weapon Elegy and it's broken.
Just fyi.. At lvl 90 venti can hit way higher with Swirls, the difference is pretty big, specially against 2 or more enemies (*just try not to imbue Venti's Burst with Hydro*)
But... As a example, my Venti lvl 90 with 879 em can hit 7k per swirl, thanks to 4VV + Zhong li shield, try it out if you want. But yeah.. Swirl doesnt really shine if character is not lvl 90+wearing 4VV. (I would hit like 5.300 per swirl if my venti would be lvl 80)
Why shouldnt you use Hydro??
@@KazeJay777 Cause you can not swirl 2 hydro hits at the same time, even if you swirl hydro against 4 wet enemies. Hydro swirl dmg is capped at 1, and you can not even swirl Hydro DAMAGE to nearby enemies who do, or do not have hydro aura, you just apply Hydro aura on them instead.
However, all the other swirls are capped at 2, for example if you swirl pyro on 4 burning enemies, you will swirl 2 pyro hits (against each enemy), thats the max.
The only exception is electrocharged. If an enemy is electrocharged, electro and hydro are applied on the enemy. So for example, if you swirl 2 electrocharged enemies at the same time, you are doing 2 electro swirls and 1 hydro swirl. Interesting mechanic ikr.
All this is way easier to test with single hit anemo skills, like venti E, kazuha E, sucrose E...
Is it because of the attack stat increase??i am confused by this because I don't really see why it would make that big of a difference since all of the stats are kinda meh

And yea its an interesting mechanic to say the least. The game has so many of them when it comes to the reactions. I cant wait to see how Dendro will work in out hands along with any reworks they may give to the reaction system overall.
@@kyxer9105 fun fact is: swirl dmg has nothing to work with ATK.
You can have like.. 6000 Total Attack and 300 cd but if you have like.. 100 EM, your swirl dmg will be pretty poor.
This said. EM build is very friendly and easy to build cause you just want to stack EM and probably ER% and ATK%.
For example, against 2 enemies, full EM build is just so easy to build and deals so good dmg. If you are using Crit, you need pretty nice Cr and Cd ratio to deal the same damage. However, for example, if you are using bennet, It will be just easier to deal that much damage with a worse crit build, and.. As I mentioned, Total Attack does not improve swirl dmg at all. (And literally any transformative reaction, which are all reactions in the game except melt or vaporize)

ur doing it completely wrong.... ur supposed to use benny burst then venti on it cuz it snapshots. If u use it after u don't get the atk buff at all! all ur doing then is just infusing it with pyro
