I think this song (the last song on the album) is him, realizing that if he continues these cycles of abuse, it will be the end of him, and I think he believes he is incapable of breaking free.
i disagree with the statement about this song, this song is actually about his ex gf abusing him , he knew what she was doing was wrong but he stilll loved her and he just had to walk away, she was fighting him as others just watched and didnt do anything, surely ppl care about male's safety in america KEK

Fuck yeah! This song is fantastic. It's the kind of song that reminds you that music is art and art is beautiful. I love Breaking Benjamin, they're one of my two favorite bands (The other is Linkin Park), because while the music itself is great, the lyrics are so relatable. "This is how it's gonna end"

Let me break up these mundane lists and give my opinion of what this song is about. I think it is talking about relationships in general, not a specific one. We get into them with all the best intentions (love) and most of them fail anyway. He is saying that any relationship he gets into, he already knows the outcome; failure.
